That's why I think its kind of odd when people claim japanese comedy is sometimes inexplicable to Western audiences. There are parallels to all sorts of American and British humor. I suppose it is just that many people are totally unfamiliar with their own comedic history --- a tragedy in itself.

No wonder I enjoy L*S so much... I was such a Monty Python fan as a child.... in so much people think I'm weird.. and they laugh at their idiotic and sexist Benny Hill sketches... I must say L*S has more non-sequitur humour than most Japanese comedies; not anime comedies but comedy variety shows and doramas.

The translation was tamer than the original Japanese for this strip I think... Kona was sounding like a bakusoku gang leader talking a new girl friend. I didn't find it that funny.. maybe if we have more pages...

Hmmmmmm, I'm starting to get a string of "no pictures in the posts" again thought there obviously were suppose to be some. Imageshack hwarfing up for anyone else?
