So apparently, Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler is getting a new animated movie.

Daisuki Ono (Sebastian Michaelis) and Maaya Sakamoto (Ciel Phantomhive) will be reprising their roles from the original series.

The only question that matters here is whether it adapts Toboso's material or goes original. If it's the latter, don't expect a whole lot based on historical precedent.

I wonder if they will adapt any of the first arcs into movie format, so that it connects better with Book of Circus and Murder. It would be nice with a Book of Jack the Ripper/Madame Red and a Book of Curry,

I think I've seen promo picture with Elizabeth in it and her part come up near the end of that arc, so maybe it'll be just one movie? I didn't see Undertaker though.

Too bad Aniplex will probably get its grubby hands on this now that Funi lost its license for this show and charge what I make in a paycheck for it.

Funi is releasing the Book of Circus and Murder on Blu-Ray/DVD in the next month or so though.

This. Aniplex may be greedy but they are not idiots, so they still use Funi dub for the series.
