Exactly it was common knowledge. The way the dialog was written in vol 1 it was as if he knew of her through common knowledge.

In the Railgun manga she knows Touma's name (or rather surname) without a introduction, and seems upset for him don't remebering her.

They don't know her face either, they only made the connections once they saw a electric esper + Tokiwadai Uniform = Railgun.
I guess the same happened with Touma the first time he met Misaka, and thats why the other times he want to save thugs from her instead.

True but that was probably because the next panel was THE REVEAL. That chapter was the first time she appeared directly right? With that in mind I don't think it would be wrong to consider that expression to be "neutral" rather then "unhappy".

Still it would be fun if she was friends with Touma before and realized he lost his memory at that point.

This seriously can't be the first manga you've encounter that does this, otherwise you need to read more books.

Reading through the chapter again this looks like a "setup shot". It shows her breasts so Touma can react appropriately, the artist avoids showing Shokukhou's face until the next page so she can make a big song and dance while trolling Mikoto.

Well she does know who he is but that may just be due to her connections to the darkside, but I can see a case being made that she might know him personaly. The last time we see her whole face in the page before the one posted above she is all smiles but once she sees touma we no longer are able to see her whole face and her expression seems to darken to a more neutral expression then she seems to frown before switching over to all smiles again.

Hmmm, well, in fact, before that page she is smiling, in that page, she gets pretty serious and we can't see her eyes, pronouncing the name of Touma (which is not mentioned to her, and it is impossible to discover for her in that moment, because she can't entering the mind of both, she would have to know his name from elsewhere), and is possible that the "cheerful attitude" on the next page is a "facade".

Oh there will be trolling the big question is if there will be a meeting of Misaki and Worst. God help Railgun if that happens.

She was looking like that because it was the best attitude to make a fool out of Mikoto at the time. You are missing the whole point of why Misaki appeared before Touma.

its kinda like how Index and Misaka describe their connection with Touma when they first met in v6...
