Ace Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth

Scan 1
Scan 2

I guess the flopped AJ in Japan give Capcom a scare and now they are counting on the cool Edgeworth with his own tale as a new rejuvelation to the new franchise.

They should have started out with this instead of AJ, giving us something familiar instead of throwing something.....revolutionary.

Why does this sound like one of the best ideas ever? I seriously will not be able to stop thinking about this until I play the damn thing. Edgeworth has always been my favourite Ace Attorney character, and the chance to play as him prosecuting is too tempting to resist.

Cool, so this is what the whole "New Gyakuten, not saiban" project was all about. Makes sense, though I don't think that Apollo Justice flopped just yet....they have yet to give him closure to his own arc, just like with Phoenix. But it seems like the whole focus point in Apollo Justice was Phoenix all over again.
This game seems more like a spinoff than a real sequel. It looks like it has new gameplay elements as well...looks like you can control where Edgeworth goes, judging from the screen shots.
Pretty cool idea, can't wait for it to be released.
Though I'm pretty sure they are working on Gyakuten Saiban 5...which, I have heard, it will be the last of the Gyakuten series and will have a lot of familiar faces returning.

I think it's no brainer to say that this is what they must do for the gameplay for all gyakuten series (Having character avatar walking around the scene)

Just beat the game a while ago...after reflecting on it for a bit and comparing with the other games in the series...

Spoiler for spoilers kept to minimal, but just to be safe:

Yes. Notice the tiny petite cane that she carries which goes nicely with her age.

It's already out? OMG, i totally forgot. Gyakuten Saiban it's the best DS game, so, a Gyakuten WITH Edgeworth in the main role must be perfect. MUST BE.

I liked the GS4, but it lacked something, i don't know. I didn't find Apollo to be an interesting main chara like Phoenix, besides, the lack of the old gang the game blows rocks. It needed more Edgie love.

Pfft. Loli Mei (Franziska) steals the spotlight at the very last moment for me. (A very unexpected pleasant surprise here.)

She should star in her own Mahou Saiban Shoujo game in the future.

Looking at that picture, I don't think she bring the whip around at that time.

Anyone playing this game yet? I am in the final case and this is lot better than AJ. The new way to investigate feels lot better and easier. I was afraid that lack of court scene might have been bad but just arguing is pretty good actually.
And some really great characters so far.

Yea finished it about a day back .
I also found the investigation bits to be more fun and less tedious / boring since you can control Miles and walk around instead of just having a cursor and a static image .
Also Maybe it was just me but it felt a bit easier than the other AA games .

Lastly , Kay is <3 and Little Thief is

On the second case at the moment, and i'm loving it. Sure i'm missing the court room, though the new changes are really welcome, and brings a lot more fun to the already great system.

Other than the final case ( which imo is the weakest of the series in terms of pacing and overall story/villain ), I found AA:I to be greatly enjoyable. Though one particular person's cameo and involvement was one case too many. And admittedly, the lack of the judge's gavel and dumb expressions did make the battle of wits and contradictions less... epic, so to speak. Doesn't help that Edgey just isn't as hotblooded ( and lovingly dumb-smart ) as Phoenix was.

I thought Little Thief was okay. It was just a gameplay mechanic which visually reconstructs new dimension for more information dissection, just a glorified version of 'mental image visualization.' At the very least, it worked through only what we already know, and not intangible aspects like psylocks and BRACELET THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SEE THROUGH LIES OF BODY LANGUAGE.

Kay, Rhoda and Franziska ( riding crop and whip version ) are <3. Badd is awesome. Manfred and Bratworth's Double Finger Waggle is awesomely :3

Now there's the wait for Ace Attorney 5. Preferably less Apollo, or at least less hand-holding.

Just recently started this (as in, popped in the cartridge just over an hour ago and on the first case) but I already like it. Sure, it's not Phoenix, but then I like Miles, so that just makes the game all the more sweeter. Logic and reasoning instead of hotblood and trust.

A matter of preference, I'd say.

On the last case, more like about to start it, I've enjoyed the ride, but the disappointment for the last case is worrying me.

Waitin' for my pal to finish playing it and then he's gonna lend it to me so I don't have to pay for something I'm planning to play only once.

I enjoyed the past 4 games so I'm sure this one will be awesome as well.

Though as awesome as Edgy and Phoenix are I'm still an Apollo supporter.~ *waves flag with Apollo's face on it*
