What I am waiting for to see this season are the guardians that were awakend in the end of the first season. I want to know if their loyalties are to the person who awoke them or to their original boss?

At least Fatina still looks great. That's what matters the most as far as character designs are concerned.

Looking at some of these, it looks like the character designs were improved quiet a bit from their earlier concepts.

There's a small chance that I may never have watched Druaga if Fatina had looked like that. (small... Fatina was only one of the selling points; I mostly watched because people loved the first episode)

This would be on topic for the first season's topic, but its on topic here too, and that threads going to be pretty much dead in a few weeks, so...

Well, since Fatina and Melt are both mages, there really isn't a reason for the both of them to be in the same party besides the fact they practice different elements (Fatina is fire and Melt is lightning) and use them differently (Fatina has that massive gun-thing, while Melt uses those rods and swings them like golf clubs). And without Melt, Coopa really doesn't serve much of a purpose since all she does is carry Melt's stuff.

Doesn't really matter in this context.

Removing a fan favorite from the main cast = automatic rage, especially if the target audience is prone to nerd rage, as is the case with anime fandom.

And besides, even if it did, Fatina's not really the "stand back and cast spells while everybody else protects you" type of mage, anyways. I'd classify her more as a mid-range offensive fighter with some support abilities and a few powerful and/or long range techniques that do require casting time. She has one weapon, and that weapon is capable of being used immidiately at short/mid range and is good for both singles combat and crowd control. I guess that you could call her a red mage of sorts, though she doesn't use a melee weapon and hasn't been shown to have healing abilities.

Its different from Melt's "stand at a distance and volley attacks at the enemy while everybody else keeps them at bay" style.

It wouldn't seem to redundant to have her and Melt in the same group.

Just a quick question, but what are the chances that the new loli will have super human strength.Lol. Honestly, I was hoping for Coopa and Melt to have continued the climb. What is going to happen of they need to rally the troops and their sales person is not there.

Yep, I'm all about Fatina, though looking at those pictures above, Coopa looks pretty hot too. Definitely looking forward to the sequel.

Guys, I got some lineartworks of the 4 leads from a japanese blog, but I was wondering if anyone else who wanders around here could have possibly caught eye of any other character.

Also, the GONZO folks are taking a lot of time releasing more arts in their official druaga website.

Even more... the Druaga arts on the website ROCKS!!!

Last... just 2 more weeks for the so expected beginning of Season 2!!! Man, how I'm tired of waiting for it!!!

Spoiler for What happened...: -It's been half a year since the events of the first season. -The tower they climbed in the first season is now a tourist attraction, at which Jil and Fatina work as tour guides. -Kelb has retired and opened up a shop. He's still oblivious to Ethana's feelings for him. -Henaro is a bow-gun user who regular stops by Kelb's shop. S/He (?) has a gentle personality, but s/he get's dragged into Jil's climb and joins in the ascent to the top of the Mythical Tower. -Jil meets loli-Ki when she's being chased by the Uruk army, it is through meeting her that he hardens his resolve to climb the Mythical Tower.
