I officially hate Nomi/Dusk taker. I'm gonna find it hard to watch the next few episodes =_=. I have a feeling Haru and the other two will struggle kicking his ass.

This makes sense, and is a very good point... but Chiyu's initial counter to Noumi's plan was to try to take the blame herself and say that she asked Haru to come. If the reality of the school was as you described, then Chiyu would have had no reason to believe that her idea would have overcome Noumi's blackmail. And further, Noumi could have just said "that won't work because the school will expel anyway" rather than mention "Plan B" involving the second camera. So, Chiyu must think that the school will listen to reason and won't just expel blindly. Noumi must have already thought that he needed even more leverage than what he already has with the footage alone (since the second camera was already in the room waiting to be discovered). I suppose you might say that it's a matter of degrees -- just entering the girls' change room is one thing, but placing a camera is much worse (as the latter is potentially a criminal issue), but it still doesn't make sense to me why he thinks he could do all this without ever being caught or implicated in anything (particularly given that there are other brain bursters around). I suppose that's just how over-confident he is about himself and his Physical Burst ability.

I'm just going to guess that Chiyu is just really optimistic and naive, given her age. But yeah, the reasoning and explaination is a bit off at this point from the author. Then again, Noumi could feign innocence, claiming he has no idea where these accusations are coming from.

Either way, when KYH gets wind of it, he'll be in a world of trouble. Besides, KYH did mention that he is probably using an illegal program to mask his name in Brain Burst. When the creator/moderators of Brain Burst identifies him, they will probably forcibly uninstall Brain Burst from Noumi, just like they did for Taku's parent.

It wasn't well explained in the anime, but no, they didn't lose any territory. For the specific reason, try asking in Q&A or LN thread.

In episode 6 Blue Knight said to Taku he will 'grant him a stay of execution', implying he won't take Taku's points away and he could(did) take away all points from Taku's parent.

Less eventful episode than usual this week but still had a few interesting things going on with each character.

I'm taking a liking to Chiyu of late and her apparent theory that random acts of violence and straight talking solve most problems. I just find it weird that someone who could best be described as a tomboy much of the time would be the one to have healing powers. Anyway definitely got an eyeful of her this episode. Clearly they figured since she hadn't been around all that much they needed to go all out during her arc so we have an entire scene with her just completely stark naked. Even still they went all out on Kuroyukihime in the new ending too. Overall a really fanservice filled episode this week, which is probably why I come away a little more with the feeling that it wasn't too eventful plot wise.

Noumi seems to be there to try and corrupt others almost and serve as a foil to Chiyuri's ideas about how the game should be played for fun and played fairly without the dickishness and backstabbing. It's almost like his goal is to try and give people cause to break the socially imposed rules of Accel World and just do whatever with it. In short he seems to just want to cause as much chaos and mess around with people cause he can. This is what I inferred with his conversation with Taku who he seems to have caused to doubt himself all over again. He seems to delight in causing havoc and stretching the boundaries of the game in a malcious way compared to Taku who simply used it to gain an advantage in Kendo so I don't really see why Taku would see himself in that kid. It almost seems like similar to Kuroyukihime there's some deep self-loathing going on inside his head, but Kuroyukihime hides it better. Maybe that's why he admires her almost more than Haruyuki does to some extent.

As for Haru, apparently Kuroyukihime leaving caused his brain to leave a bit too because he's pretty foolish this episode. I get that if Kuroyukihime stayed she'd probably just squash Noumi and the arc would be over before it even began, but having Haru handle the problem isn't working out well so far. He can't seem to recognize the difference between the girls and boys bathroom. I mean even with the signs switched and even if you've never been down that wing of the school before how could you not immediately notice which bathroom you are in. One time I almost made the mistake and I immediately noticed the second I opened the door and just shut it without incident. I mean there's a difference lol. He also doesn't seem to be able to do much against Noumi, being thoroughly outwitted and overpowered in every instance of them having a confrontation this episode. He's definitely not as much of a dunce as he was before he got into Accel World, but there's obviously still a long way to go before he can even come close to being considered as useful as Kuroyukihime or frankly even Taku in some way.

Well, it isn't a bathroom, but a shower room, and shower rooms can actually look identical from that point of view. Plus, well, if he hasn't been in the other before either (which may stand to reason), he probably wouldn't have known what to expect either way. I don't think the thought of the signs being changed ever occurred to him, and he would have assumed that Noumi would also have gone into whatever room marked "Men".

So yeah, in this particular area, I don't really think Haru was at fault.

I know the writers really want the audience to hate Noumi but frankly all I can do is laugh at this Joker...Up until now the show has done a decent job of keeping its villains fairly human but this guy with his "clever" schemes and his lip licking wanna be NTRing just comes off as a third rate mid boss to me at best.

Oh well seeing him inevitably fall on his face will be good for a chuckle I suppose.

I'm three weeks behind, but since right now I'm taking my days off for vacation I'll be able to make a quick comeback.

My praise for the brand-new opening and ending theme, particularly the ending theme which is not only cute but hilarious how it plays all the way to the end.

What a better way to ignite the second season not only introducing Nougami but revealing his true colors as a blackmailing bastard to have things his way, though I wonder if his appearance was a coincidence or not with Kuroyukihime leaving town.

I do really get this bad feeling about Chiyu, because the most she struggles to bring up that Burst Link is a game that has to be enjoyed in a peaceful manner by all players that unintentional innocence is getting a rough crush by a status-loving jerk like Nougami.
This innocence of hers would be a serious point of contention between her and Kuroyukihime, and I feel it'll put Haru on a wall between Chiyu and Kuroyukihime to choose from.
