The coolest character...
Hmmm.. so far... probably... Jiraiya... who had everything: - Ero-stuff (he was proud of it and BORN with it!) - Jokes - Serious - Knowlegde - Various and many "never seen before/original" techniques - A real friend - The greatest teacher so far - Reputation above all jounins / known through the entire land But above all... he's a real hero!

Besides Madara, after watching the recent anime episodes I've grown attached to Killer Bee. His rapping is pretty awesome, and he's strong as hell. I love his complete Hachibi transformation, and it was awesome how he beat Sasuke's ass. I also thought his moves when fighting with eight swords in the anime were very cool.
I really do hope he's going to stay alive, and won't be captured by Akatsuki.

A list of my favorite Characters:
Good Guy's (5) 1) Jiraiya- There's too many reason's to list 2) Naruto- He's not alway's cool, but when he have his moments(v below v) he reeks of it Spoiler for Anime:
3) Shikamaru- From the second I watch his fight with Temari I was hooked... A lazy genius who hooks up with older chicks-- Cool 4) Gaara- Went from a crazy bloodlusting demon... To a wise philosophical Kage (reminds me alot of Godric from True Blood who was also my favorite character from that show) 5) Kakashi- Just because he was the first person to come off as cool to me in the series Honorable mentions Neji/ Shino/ Kiba/ Asuma etc. Bad Guy's 1) Pain- Come on... his ability's is based off of an entire RELIGION 2) Orochimaru- If there was a villain school he could be the Headmaster of it. He has style 3) Kabuto- He was my laeast favorite villain period. Now he has the potential to be my favorite villain. He actually evolved and grew.. Which usually only happens to people on the good side (and Sasuke). I feel proud of him 4) Sasori- Don't really know why... he's just cool 5) Itachi- insert reason here____ Honarable Mention Kisame/ Diedera/ Kakazu Another thing... It's funny how people complain about Naruto's personality so much and how annoying/uncool/etc. he is and then the same people will talk about how cool Jaraiya is. When, in fact, Jaraiya acted just like Naruto when he was his age... So that should give you an idea on how cool the future Naruto could gonna be...

The next day my roommate forgot everything and I remembered everything (don't forget things when I'm drunk).... Mind you this is like two years before this arc. So, I (not being able to bear the lack of progression in the anime at that time) was forced to start reading chapters.

This is certainly tough question but I'll spit out few that are on my mind at the moment :
Shikamaru - Honestly, do I need to say more? His wits and brain can deal with toughest opponents. Jiraiya - Ero-sennin is a legend among legends. He is funny, smart and serious when situation calls for it, not to mention that he is a master of some cool jutsus. He has ''best buddy'' letters written all over his forehead =) Tsunade - Sexy lady with evolved and healthy chest with He-man's strength and almost Godly healing abilities. How would poor Lee continue his carrier if she wasn't' around? Neji - Byakugan is great ability by itself and he showed it for a few times. Yeah he didn't had a decent screen time since ages but I'm sure it will be a blast when we see him in action again. Kakashi - Just looking at a guy you can say that he is badass. Nothing bad can be said about him, except that he should use Thousand Years of Pain more often =) Itachi - Not really a fan but damn his abilities are cool and overall enigmatic character. Love the voice actor as it gives me the chills, in a good way. Shame about his destiny... Six paths of Pain - or specifically the Deva path. Aside from his wicked look he is the most badass villain around. Did I mention that his Girei theme rocks?
