A little late in posting. Watched the final ep.

Satania saying "I will humiliate you in front of your sister"to Gab. We know what that would lead to. - and Raphi was expecting it because she had the Christmas rope.

I somehow like it when da tenshi Gab uses her "good" angel appearance in meido uniform to try to fool her sister. Also did not expect her to use a surprise attack spit.. too bad it didn't work and she received the pain.

I would say more that they are both extreme hedonists. Raphi with her sadism and Gab with her net games. The main difference between them is that Raphi has to interact with people for her pleasure so she comes across as more functional.

I've never heard of that word before. I looked it up and you're definitely right!
Yes, I do agree that Raphi comes across as the more sociable one because of that but, for nearly the same reason, Gab is less frightening, by FAR.

The different mental illnesses/personalities is another reason why I find this show to be satirical/of a parody. As I've been told before, I may be wrong, but I still feel this way. How do you feel?

I think that they were going for a satirical good/evil switch to hang the comedy on. However going against expectation with "bad" angels and "good" demons has been done before by different anime as had most of the rest of their gags.

I enjoyed the show but it was very slight, unfortunately. If they had gone bigger with the angels' personalities they might have done better with disc sales.

Er, that's not good. Just how poor were the disc sales? I'm not familiar.
I did enjoy it as well, and that was my qualm too, funnily enough. Had they expanded more on the satire and the personalities, it would have been wonderful.

As for this being done before in other anime, I had no idea. This must be why I thought the show was brilliant. LOL The gags were new to me as well.. welp, I guess it's not my fault though. I was never straight-up told to go watch the other ones instead, so GabDrop was my first time.

Just finished watching the last episode. The Vigne parts were easily the funniest to me, well basically just the part when she was lying for Gabriel to her sister. After 11 episodes of getting to know the characters, you knew how much pain she was in doing it, and even then, it was her going through the flashbacks that cracked me up. I also got a kick of Gab sniping the demon host of the paid programming network from outside the TV and Satania's reaction. Overall, the series was what it was meant to be. My only criticism is the characters are defined by their quirks, leading to the gags becoming stale over time from overuse. Still, it was a nice show to watch weekly.

OVA 2 was very sweet. And it played up the parallels between Satania and Gab again. They were the two who were really ready to do something regardless of the consequences, of course Satania was hampered by the whole demon thing.

All the coffee shop skits were so funny. I felt sorry for the owner. I lost it at the land mine.

Hopefully no one tells him that Vignette is actually a demon and not an angel. though if ask me, I think Raphiel is the real demon.

I was very surprised when the ending credits came, I was like surely it can't be over already it felt way too soon.

Love to know where that dog keeps coming from.

We don't need to see Gabriel 2 the fall, we already know from the 1st episode.

I love how Raphiel was doing her best not to piss herself laughing watching those 2 play old maid. She is so good at manipulating people, especially Satania.

Don't mind the mess, turns the light on, it's a garbage dump.

The best and worst of Satania in the episode. I knew straight away that Gab would get that gun one way or another.

Satania's changing facial expressions when the teacher was coming were so funny.

Loved the costume they had Gab wear.

I wonder if Raphiel's stipend has skyrocketed because of what she puts Satania through.

All the Gabriel's fell asleep, that was so funny.

Satania is pretty good at athletics. I'm not surprised she got chewed out at the end of the interview.

Satania also now has an opportunity to get back at Raphiel. Raph lives in a pretty nice place, I wonder if that stipend had gone up a lot due to her picking on Satania all the time.

Gabriel is always motivated when it comes to food.

Probably the best and funniest episode so far.

Easy to bribe Satania into anything by having some lemon bread.

Vigne was great in the early parts, and scary also trying to get everyone to have fun.

Hell's shopping network strikes again.

Lol Gab & Sat thought they could actually fool the customs checkout.

This show never disappoints.

It was nice to see the family interactions of the characters.

No wonder Satania is hopeless trying to take over the world, just look at how her parents act.

I wouldn't mind trying their bakery products though, they are probably pretty good.

Alexander looks a bit like a Charmander or mini Charizard. It was fun watching Chappy in action.

Lol at Raphiels perverted butler Martiel. That was a very funny looking scorn, Rpah was still smiling.

Raph lives in a pretty nice place in the human world also.

Gab someone fooled the princple into giving her more money.

Gabriel made me laugh during the staring contest.

I do hope the demons sneak into heaven next time. I bet there will be a lot of fun and chaos.

The first thing I thought of was where is the dog the moment I saw the lemon bread.

I'm kinda not surprised what happened next because in this anime it's kinda la - demon = angel and vice versa.

PC's for idiots, they didn't hold back at all.

I wish I could jump into this anime and try Vignette's cooking.

Gab's older sister next time. Might be the best and funniest episode yet

It's a shame this is coming to an end next time, I do hope there is another season.

With the compare to Konosuba i guess i could agree. I did enjoy both though maybe Konosuba seemed a bit more developed to some extent.

Watched the specials:

Emotional episode 2. Gab may be a fallen angel, but she still has a big heart. Risked punishment to save a blind girl, what more can you ask for?

And I'm sure Satania would have cured that girl, if only she had the power. Unfortunately, she's not yet an arch demon.
