"Various circumstances" is vague, but nothing small will cause a complete wipeout of the production staff.

The wipeout might mean that the problem did not arise from a single source alone and the only thing that can cause a domino-style collapse is the one funding the show pulling out of the project. It doesn't discount the possibility of a scandal or "internal conflict", however.

This delay can be good because maybe we will get full lenght anime and not just another 5 minutes waste of time.

Game company created own anime studio some time ago so maybe they wanted to produce this series them self? Anyway, lets hope we get high quality series

The appearance of art for this series in the new issue of Megami drives home just how late in the game this delay occurred. I imagine there was already quite a bit of work done on the series.

well as long as the delay is to make sure we dont get a rushed last 2 ep ending like all 12 ep animes ill be happy

With what little we have heard internal troubles of this project, you would be lucky if just comes out rushed. The whole situation sounds extremely dire at this point.

Granblue Fantasy anime incoming?

Hmm, I suppose they could have moved the project in-house in part to help establish the studio's brand image. However with how money that has likely already been sunk into project and the fact this production freeze occurred this close to it's airing suggests that there is a bit more to it than that imo.

Granblue is one of their most profitable title, and they have money to use. It will be dumb if they're not doing that.

I think you hit the nail, there. If it is just relocating, there is no need to dissolve the entire team. Granted, I am not familiar with how the business-side of anime production, so I don't know if that is possible.

Granblue Fantasy anime already got announced last September man, it's A-1/Aniplex, should be well done since you would expect Cygames (who are flush with $$$) to give them a big budget like they did for MAPPA.... I'm guessing it will air in Fall after Virgin Soul finishes.....

You would expect Manaria Friends and everything else they push out to come from the Cygames anime studio... Though I wonder if MAPPA keeps Rage of Bahamut and A-1 Granblue...

I was looking forward to this but then I read the manga and Anne is such a huge Mary Sue I couldn't stand it. If they do the adaptation I hope they tweak her character so she doesn't come off as such an insufferable Ms. Perfect.

Are you sure that PV is for the anime? It looks like the PV that CyGames posted to promote the game back in 2014, a year before the anime that was supposed to air in 2016 was even announced.
