I don't get the sense that Charles is a closet psycho or anything. I think he is who he appears to be, which is in itself where the threat comes from.

The way he complimented everyone in the club felt incredibly fake to me, and he takes the engagement a bit too seriously for comfort. Plus, having him become crazy when things regarding Teresa don't go his way would be very cliché, and this series hasn't shied away from clichés, so...

I think the cliche would be for him to be gorgeous, bland and perfectly nice, rather than crazy.

A guy in his position has been trained his whole life to flatter people and make sophisticated small talk. And if indeed he's engaged to Teresa, why shouldn't he take it seriously? I don't hold either of those things against him.

Agreed, I think if there is any push back, it'll most likely be tied to the aspects of his personality and upbringing that you brought out. Because he seems to take his role and position seriously, he may feel it's their duty or responsibility to be together, regardless of their actual feelings.

I find it quite amusing how human-like Nyanko Big turned out in this show. We got him running loose again.

Wasn't expecting the emotional ending with Yui though. That's the first time I've seen her react in such a way. At least she has someone like Teresa to comfort her.

And here goes my hopes of Charles being secretly in love with Alec but wanting to keep the marriage with Teresa because of his duty... it seems he's really in love with her, and he also seems to be a good guy

Good episode with Yui anyway, I guess we will have to wait till the last couple of episodes to have more progress with the main couple?

Yeah, I really REALLY like Charles. My second favourite character next to Pin-senpai, and I'm sad they wrote him off until (maybe) when Teresa goes back to Larsenburg. So I really do hope that his fortune saying that he would be lucky in love will come true, even though I have a feeling that he'll fight Mitsuyoshi till the end of the series for Teresa, only to gracefully bow out. I only hope Alec is still there to pick up the pieces of his broken heart. XD
