Ichigo must have a skin tone/hair color defect like albinos or Michael Jackson if he actually has naturally orange hair. |

Tite Kubo himself ( the creator of bleach ) gave two reasons to calling it that. One was a symbolic reason. As the soulreapers cleanse souls, it's like they are "bleaching" their souls. Like how bleaching in a clothes sense means to remove stains and blemishes, the shinigami remove sin and corruption from the souls. The other reason he gave is because "Bleach" was the name of his favorite Nirvana (thats right, kurt kobain nirvana)album.

here is my theory. my friend told me that tite kubo started bleach as a joke with his friend, an example is that the hollow fishbone D is the name of a band somewhere in japan, and other hollows are named after bands, and people, but then kubo got into bleach and it became a serious thing.

i think it's because "bleach" is a cleaning detergent (it purifies and cleans) and the shinigami go around cleansing hollows from the world and sending pure spirits to soul society. and it's not because of his hair. Because he originaly had black hair in the oneshot and the story was still called bleach

And I've never seen Europeans with orange hair...closest thing would be redish blonde or blondish red...but never orange... |
