So, had some good matches last night.

As a whole, while the Churchill I is fun, I find there is a certain enjoyment to be had in a T-34 playing with a good team. The fast-firing 57mm is good at shredding weaker foes and suppressing enemy tanks (well, unless they're fuckoff heavies with armor that laughs at my guns, lol ) and the T-34 is fast enough to scout, survivable enough that it lives longer, and manuverable enough that I can flank while others draw the attention and hit the enemy in the rear. It really requires you to be careful and think.

Aggressive, not reckless.

Also, the 57mm is pretty accurate; I got more than a few kills from drive by snapshots last night. Also ended up pushing a KV-1 up a hill at one point, lol; he asked for a push so I went up behind him and pushed him up the hill. And I spent one match playing recovery vehicle; a Panzer III on Sand River had managed to ram an A-20 and a Grille into a pit, and was doing the same to other lights, and then charged at me and tried to use the 20mm. I just aimed, let the rounds bounce off, killed it, and then spent the next 10 minutes pushing friendlies out of where they were stuck.

I think really, the best way to think of a T-34 is that it's a larger light. I mean, there are times when I'm outrunning the lights in my team, lol.

*looks above*

...oh FFS an equipment sale? *facepalms* If I knew, I'd have held off the Rammer for my Churchill! Goddamnit. All that money down the drain!

Ah, well. I can just make up that much from battles anyway, since I've got two T5s now. Hmmm. Maybe I should work on the Matilda...but then I'll have more tanks than I know what to do with, lol.

...and damn, but this weekend even makes me feel like shelling out more cash for premium.

Was just playing with a couple of guys from my clan. We rocked. XD When the window lickers let us.

Also, my last game of the night was pure awesome. XD 44k creds, 1k exp, killed 2 KV-1s (one of whom killed me two games ago) and a Cruiser I and a Cruiser II. It was a frantic dance of cat and mouse around two corners. Glorious.

The E-25 looks to be some fun. The 75mm L/70 is merely average at Tier 7/8, but on the other hand, when put in the E-25, it has a ridiculous aim time, ridiculous ROF, ridiculous accuracy, and a manageable bloom. Gun depression is not too bad either.

Also, the 25 has 65 KPH with reasonable acceleration and a decent turn rate. It's also about as short as a StuG.

Crew is 4, matching layout of the Hetzer. So it's not a high-tier German TD trainer (that's what the JT88 is for), and it doesn't have the slow open-top vulnerabilities of the Dicker Max.

However, it does cost 7000 gold, and the armor is paper.

And those bleep-blanking Russians will probably nerf it.

Expect lots of E-25 and MT-25 on the test server.

Only played a few games today, enough to break even on my W/L, get an Ace Tanker on the T29 (with the event bonus, but with the training crew!), and turn a profit, which helps offset the giant pile of equipment that I purchased.

Though backing away quietly has its advantages, as Team Rutabaga is fully in force.

It would appear, with the test server for 8.7 already up, that 8.6 is more of a total public beta test for the SPG rebalancing and ammo nerfs than an actual update.

Finally hit false 55%.

Ironically, all that tier 9 play with Pen and Sahin this afternoon apparently nuked my 60-day WN7 rating for some reason, as it was actually listed as more than 1500 at one point. Also, I do far less damage on the E-75, but by comparison, I LIVE longer in the games we were in.

ah hahaha, everyone passed my win rate, too bad i no longer care anymore... I haven't even played my main account for a few weeks, and thinking about starting to play CoH2 campaign mode. Or until BF 4 is actually released or they do a beta. I finally got the WZ 132's tier 9 100mm gun tho, now off to unlock the tier 9 and the tier 10.

Because you're crazy Touma, and we've long stopped applying logic to what comes out of your mouth.

And now for some highlights of the past day or so:

Images
Sorry; dynamic content not loaded. Reload?

It just says a lot of the quality of the team, when my tank, a freaking light, has one of the highest damages rated for the match, and whats more, more or less forced the guys that annihilated our forces in town to turn around because I was capping. Whats more, it put those tanks in a convenient killzone for the Pershing that had followed: while it died, it damaged the two T-34s and the E-75 enough that the two campers (the Super and the T20) were able to finish them off.

Images

Now this game, despite the good predict rate, started with a disaster in the making, with the Lorraine 155 51 deciding it was a "scout" and rushing ahead through the city right into the guns of a waiting T30. Were down 3 tanks, but somehow managed to turn this around. Sometimes, you can only REALLY trust your platoon to win.

Images

Finally, a game where everything went right when the predict told us we'd die horribly. We were the north team, and as a group the platoon went north. I guarded the pass, waiting for the obvious units to pour in from A8. Long story short, our south flank crushed theirs, and what was left of their team rushed my position, but by then it was too late, as they were ALL heavies (meaning they couldn't get back to THEIR flag if they wanted to), and we had 5 people on cap. :P
