(I actually don't know if it does, but seemingly irrelevant conversations have turned out to have significance in past arcs. We'll have to wait and see)

It brings realisim to the work. If you think about real life not every conversation you have is about "specifics". Some of your conversations has to be about why you think you cant fit eleven clowns into the boot of a compact car. Small talk... is something that makes good literature snappy, when it is done properly. You guys are just thinking too hard. |

You know, the title of the novel is also somewhat interesting. |

I read through all the pages and this one didnt seem to be covered.
The random cuts that cut away to saying " BLACK " " RED " and " WHITE " what do these mean exactly ? i figuered they were different from the " missing scene " cut aways and actully ment something. the closest thing i could come to conculsion was it represented time passing or some what. Black is a short amount of time, while red is a scene jump or some what. Am i on the right track ?

Nah, not all of them, especially considering most lasted for a split second; hardly worth inserting the extra two or three frames of animation. Some, perhaps, will be replaced on DVD, but I think the majority were just by way of scene transition. SHAFT-isms, essentially.
If you want to try to find a pattern, though, go ahead. There might actually be one, who knows?
