need more animes to watch

Spoiler for List of Animes:

ones with a red dot are the ones i liked best
ones with a black dot i hated with a passion!
ones with nothing are just so-so...good animes that i dont love nor hate, but was worth watching

am open to most things except stuff thats like the black dotted ones....

i guess i mostly like action & comedy, also regardless of how good the plot is, the animation has to be good or i cant bring myself to watch it :x

Some great shows that spring to mind when I think about combining comedy with action are Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. Both are excellently animated, so you should have no complaints there. Cowboy Bebop is the best choice, but Samurai Champloo is quite a formidable show as well.

Alternately, if you want something that's like Shakugan no Shana, except more ecchi and a bit less substantial, try Zero no Tsukaima. Opinions vary widely on this show, but I rather like it.

Oh, and why did you watch Mai Otome if you hated Mai Hime?

The immediate that clicks is Eureka Seven, especially that you've seen FMA. E7 is serious but hilarious, wonderful music and moving plot and characters. yep, and there's plenty of actions.

I second Samurai Champloo, great mix of comedy and action. The cast is also very different from your usual anime, and SC got a few points in the artistic department too.

You seem to dislike kiddy stuff just like me.

I just started watching Baccano! You might like Allison & Lilia. It has a similar English backset and interesting couple.

I also just watched Bounen no Xamdou. It's borrows from many different successful anime, so I doubt many would dislike it.

I second Seirei no Morbito. It's just plain good. Call me crazy, but it somehow reminds me of Lord of the Rings.

I like adventure and action, but comedy is always great if it hits home. It's hard to recommend comedy since everyone has different preferences, but FMP Fumoffu was definitely one of my favorites. I haven't found anything like it yet.

Since you like action and comedy, I'd also say Samurai Champloo is a good anime.
