To put it upfront: I'm rooting for Ayase

... unfortunately, unless the author really surprises me, her confession comes too early. The standard drama arc demands that the winning girl confesses last (if at all).

Still, the idea of a Kirino ending isn't sitting well with me at all, and I'm not too impressed with Kuroneko's handling of the situation. So, Ayase is obviously used as a catalyst... but I still harbor residual hopes for her winning in the end.

So, looking forward to summary/translations!

Thanks for translating the interview. I think this proves what we've been saying regarding the Volumes being seperated into different "Seasons". Volumes 1-5 is pretty much Season 1, 6-9 is Season 2, and 10 and up seems to be Season 3.

At the very beginning since I know Ayase is my favorite, I wasn't expecting Ayase end. This development, for me, is a bonus. A very very exciting bonus. But I still don't want to get my expectation up with this, after all it's still the first part of 3 volume arc

Even though it's not canon, her route on the PSP games are more than enough for me :3

1. Seriously, Oka-san, can't siblings hold hands?

2. What is Hinata doing over at Kyousuke's home? Is the flag still flying?

It's rare actually, to see siblings hold hands (especially around Kirino & Kyousuke's age). I don't usually hold hands with my siblings, neither do my friends (from what I've seen so far). Well, except if they're of the same sex (usually female), or the other one is still a toddler/pre-school/elementary age.

He fears volumes that end with "To be continued" - Original concept of volume 10 was "dating sim". - Mana/Kanako (first time) meeting was something he had in mind for a long time ← Explains all the reference in the anime character analysis and the PSP game - Ranking Studying: Kirino, Saori, Mana, Ayase, Kuroneko Housework: Mana, Kuroneko, Ayase, Saori, Kanako/Kirino - Kyousuke and Ayase make a great chat combo, and Fushimi was happy that there was lots of Ayase - Fushimi's house is similar to Saori's room (?!) - His current favorite figure is the Ayase Nendoroid - Aside from Ayase's great presence in volume 10, there are the "change" events of Kirino and Kuroneko. The new Kirino's real value will shine in the next volume, and illustrations will happen after that. - Fushimi is thinking of having the "younger Kousaka siblings" as the cover. - Volume 10 is the first volume of a three volume arc.
