I don't mind this has a bit of shounen-ai vibe, since there is shoujo-ai in this series. I think adding Touma x Thor should balance it. I grow sick of people wanting yuri action already.

Mostly because you are talking about shounen-ai vibes, when from the spoilers so far, we know next to nothing about how the two interact.

So far, the only thing we know is that Thor looks loads like a girl, and is trying to play the part of a manipulator.

This may be enough for fujoshis to start making stuff up to masterbate too, but its not evidance that BL's is afoot.

a friend of mine who lives in Japan participating in a community of Brazilian Index, said one of his favorite moments in this volume was precisely partner Touma + Thor, he did not elaborate why he had to leave, I hope he gives more detail later.

While I'd flip out boxes of popcorn to see fujoshis fantasize about Thor and Touma just so I can see what funny comedic gold stuffs they will come up with... To be honest, I'd wait until the next NT volume to confirm Thor's actual gender and person, right now from what summaries and pictures have revealed, it doesn't tell much apart from that he/she/it definitely has the bishounen criteria fulfilled and that he/she/it uses 俺 (ore) as a first-person pronoun.

Considering how Kamachi has been going with the style of speech a good number of his characters use (Frog-face doc uses "boku", something I didn't expect from that kind of character though it might not be so surprising for you guys; Saiai's "super," Frenda's "basically" variants, the Misakas and many of which I can't remember right now) I'm not surprised if we get... a Yoshida Yuki/Tomonori here (Kore wa Zombie Desuka?) who uses "Ore" as a self-referring pronoun as well.

The actual content aside. I'll be happy that Thor's appearance can revitalize To Aru's BL doujin circles. Good BL works for To Aru is already rare to begin with, or should I say it was never a priority among the fujoshi in the first place. Thus my search for quality works was never easy, despite Touma is such a perfect character for doujin purposes.
