I really liked that insert song, and thought it rather interesting to see a short-style girls' uniform. On account of the strong sea breeze? Overall I see strong potential here, though it's too early to tell if it'll really pull it off.

Either way, one thing I couldn't help but think is Karen was lucky. From the position she landed I was afraid she wouldn't just get an eyeful, but a mouthful as well.

they jammed a lot of things into this ep. understandably so, because it is a mystery and they have to set up the eventual developments. like said above, it'll be interesting to see if they can pull off the story, given how ambitious it seems.

Tried this on a whim and was quickly pulled in. I don't know if I'll stick through it to the end because I'm iffy on mystery stories. I can easily lose interest if I don't resonate with the characters. But as of right now, count me in.

Is it an eroge? Eroges tend to have awesome adaptations for some reasons...

Don't think so. All versions listed on Wikipedia, including the Japanese version, list Tamura Yukari as the VA for Rinne, and I'm pretty darn certain that she wouldn't be in an eroge. Not to mention that there isn't one mention of 18+ on the Japanese side.

I'd rather pay the fares all things considered. Even if it costs an arm and a leg.

Bah, while it is kinda off-topic now, I just have to say that the original School Days game is genuinely good, putting aside the glitches and crap.

^ 2nd that... but I prefer Cross Days. Can never get enough of gay option for Mokoto-kun.

Back on topic though, why does the cover art look so strange? The animation ain't that bad at all.

Well that was a trainwreck from a narative and characterisation point of view. Looks pretty I guess, but the people feel right off.

Ahhh.. That time when every season there were multiple VN adaptations of some kind, around the time when Clannad was airing and everyone was complaining about how anime needed saving from the flood of VN adaptations every season

The closest we've come to those times again in my opinion was during Fall 2014 when Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai, Grisaia no Kajitsu and Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete aired, we even had UBW aring that season too.

Anyway, I'm not really a fan of how they've introduced the MC by using the cliche of having the girl fall over him (seeing that position I'm quite sure some of his private parts ended inside her mouth..) but the mystery of how he got there will make me stick around for a few episodes at least.

2003-2008 were the best years for VN anime since there were a lot released during that time

That was rather creepy of him trying to kiss Karen like that. So storms keep bringing people to this island, even Rinne said she washed up on it, well at least now he has a place to stay, that is a huge place. Scary how he has a vision of someone wanting to kill him and then the note in the basement. Rinne has a very nice voice, nice song too, not sure how seeing sunlight can kill her though, maybe we will find out more in the upcoming episodes. I believe he's from the future and is there to change the past, interesting visions he is having with the 3 girls.
