That leaves us with about twenty chapters per episode. Lovely.

Granted, many of the chapters don't have much content, but I'll wait until this finishes airing and see if the feedback is positive before deciding whether or not to watch it.

Episode 1 impressions:

Wow, this is quite something. The piano music is very noticable from the start and strikes to me like an artistic performance. The camera angles focusing on the hand movements, facial expressions, and realism is very done imo. I pictured some of the sceens from the manga for this anime and it comes out as the way I anticipated.

I should say the show features a lot of character study so I'm really curious how they can handle it for a 12 episode adaptation. The manga runs for a lot of chapters and eh, I was kinda disappointed when the episode # was shown.

That being said, I think the main characters are interesting not just for their skills but also just how they be related to real people. The animation quality looks nice, faithful to the manga so far. One of the most noticable parts of the episode is actually the piano in the forest. The segment just looks so natural.

Overall, a solid start.
