RockBand ANIME Edition

It would be nice if that was a real game, but since it's not, which anime songs whether opening/ending themes or whatever would you like to see in a music game like RockBand?

I'll start with Advice by The Pillows from FLCL, and Suki Mami Maita from MeZzo.

It would made me buy a musical game after some years, since i'm tired of the genre.

To be perfect just need: All the openings and endings for Gurren Lagann and Libera me from hell.

Hitotoshite jiku ga bureteiru from Zetsubou Sensei. And this one have to be on the fucking crazy dificulty, with the screen in black and white, all the band tied up and the vocalist hanging himself.


These are essential. The rest could be any famous anime song, i probably would like anyway.

Well I was thinking more games that had peripherals and such. With the release of Guitar Hero this band/that band, I wish there was one with an anime song list.

If you want a anime rock band anime game, just download the PS2/wii GHIII game that was hacked to have anime songs (cant say there is something for everyone though, mostly naruto and bleach songs.)

You people obviously haven't heard of Frets on Fire, SarubadoJP on Youtube, and other FoF 譜面 websites. Have a sample from a visual novel and take a look at the other songs/artists I have on there; Fire Bomber's included further up and down the list. I haven't uploaded any others yet since I usually miss the notes quite a bit.

Well, Taiko Drum Master has a drum, i've got one(unfortunately, it doesn't work on the PS3. )

But these games got nothing to do with GH ones. One game that it's the same style and has anime songs is Pop'n music.

Well, it is confirmed that Rock Band: Japan is going to be made, so we'll see.

And the band X Japan is in the regular game with their song I.V.

What's so special about X Japan aside from the fact that they made their global reunion tour to begin in the Chinese nations soon after the Olympics before the rest of the world? Almost forgotten.. X Japan even made their beloved fans waited for them to get ready on the first few reunion tours in Japan with a delay caused due to unknown technical issues followed by an act in which Yoshiki fell unconscious then appear the next day perfectly okay. What a narcissist.. *facepalm*

Well the fact that they do international shows beyond just China and Korea means that they are special and very appropriate to be in a music game playlist that is designed to cater for a wider audience.

Not that I really like their music though.

Really interested. Thanks for linking. I'm downloading Frets of Fire right now. How do I add anime themed songs into the game? I will check back to this thread for a reply throughout the day. lol no pressure, i'm just keen

They are considered the first Japanese Heavy Metal band.

Stepmania + pad + OD and UKUG songpacks. I have almost ten gig of stepmania tracks and almost every one of them is from anime (some Touhou).

I probably shouldn't link the song sources, but just Google.co.jp "fof 譜面".

Download FoFix and look around the game; adding songs is pretty easy after you get used to the interface. Download a familiar skin from the community wiki/forums and you'll be fine.
