Death doesn't solve anything, only the appearance of it. He has a logical mind, and I think that's how he would do it. Besides if the world goes to shit again, who better to work from the shadows other than an immortal mastermind?

its not world peace, since if it was, he had other, better, ways to create it
and its not stopping the damocles, because there were better ways to do THAT as well (not attacking the UFN is a good start) zero-requiem is about lelouch atoning for all the shit he did in blood and if it isn't, and he really DID weasel his way out of it, then he screwed over the people he loves most which makes him, a douche

Lol ?
No, the official word was, and is "He is dead, sleeping forever in his grave". Unless you are one of the people confused by a line taken out of context of one of Taniguchi interview. The whole " It's up to viewers to decide" The end of the line was "...If it's an happy ending or a bad ending for Lelouch". No one in the staff ever implied the ending was open to interpretation. The feeling is up to you, not the fact the guy died. |

Guess I have yet to understand the meaning of this line, if it doesn't speak for itself. So Taniguchi said he was dead. Okouchi said he was dead. C.C. said he was dead. Do we need Lelouch shouting "I am DEAD ! " as well ? :'P |

Happy ending because he died protecting people? LOL!
He died after murdering a ton of people needlessly to satisfy his own ego. It's a shame it wasn't Kallen or Cornelia who impaled him. Btw, if there's a new CG it wouldn't be that shocking if they resurrected Lelouch, would it? I have a feeling that a lot of folks would nerd rage over that, IF they even went that route with CG... It probably wouldn't be a good series but it's in the realm of posibility...(see: Gundam Seed Destiny)

Been gone for awhile, gimme a report, private! (lol?)
I think Lelouch realized there was more things important then his own little world. That itself is a perspective. Lelouch thought he done "Passed the Rubicon", the point of No Return. I think he may have been rash at first, but he did as resolved. Perspective, as in in my opinion. Now let the Solstice Bashing... Begin! (lol..?) |
