Just read the first few (prologue and 1-2) chapters and I'm hooked.
I'm such a sucker for light-hearted story lines as this, especially when it involves such a broad (as far as I know yet) cast. Good characters with distinct personality always appeal to me. It says it's a love story, so I can only assume the direction it will turn, but then again, I always fall for those types of stories as well...
So long as it doesn't involve Twilight-esque love-crap.

So this is getting a new serialization in Jump Squre, called Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai+. Random speculations guessing Sena will be lead in this.

Where is my anime adaptation?!!

Seems like a better illustration than the previous serialization. Wonder what's gonna be the difference between the two adaptation

can't say from the picture alone that it will better than the current adaptation, but I'm glad they are giving the new serialization a really nice artwork---Sena looks lovely. Makes me think they are trying to expand the franchise by publishing the work on Jump Square. I get the feeling it might be a spin off; hopefully it turns out interesting as well.

a shame the anime has not been announced, yet. :P

HELL YEAH!

If this is the case, I hope they manage to capture most of the feel of Sena from this serialization with some twists added in

And yea I do like the artwork shown there I really hope the manga follows suit.

Ona side note, while I do enjoy Itachi's artwork here, I'd love to see how this would also look if done by Buriki, his style is awesome.

In このライトノベルがすごい!(This Light Novel is Amazing!) 2011, "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" is in the first place!

Edit:the news has not been confirmed. I maybe over-excited. We should wait for the official announcement.

Edit:Too bad the news isn't true. The first place is "Toaru Majutsu no Index" but still "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" is still within top 10.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai+ is out
the art is much better but the story is a bit err... normal
it is a parallel world and Sena is main girl
the story changed a lot and become a normal "boy meet girl"
Yozora doesn't recognized Kodaka yet and the counter-attack will be in the next chapter

checked the first chapter of "Plus" out of curiosity. I will probably post my thoughts later, but after quickly going through the pages, I don't think the artwork is better than Itachi's. Figures feel stiff, paneling and overall visual aspect does not feel as dynamic, gestural, or expressive, and there isn't a nice balance of dark and lights. Sena's character design looks great, though, and so is Yozora; but Kodaka no longer looks like a yankee and Maria seems too old for me.

can't comment on the story, yet.

Linking raws is allowed as long as the series is not licensed as far as I know. Well anyways thanks for the link though I too think the artwork is worse in this one. Specially the main hero's design looks off.

On the other hand it has more romance implications than the whole chapters of non-plus manga so far.

That is not Maria. That is her sister Kate who appeared in v4.

Talking about the manga anyone know how is the publication?
The manga hasn't updated its translations a good time.

EDIT: New episode of the manga is already to be read.

Yozora is awesome. I love the way she manipulates her friends (?). She is very smart in order to device all those plans and I really like that part of her. (she looks cute as demon, too).

I think this is the first time I have seen something resembling picasso (in anime, manga or whatnot).

If Yozora is a goner for having an air friend, what should we say of Sena who is befriending game characters? There's something kinda sad about this.

Yozora is a bit abusive and enjoys every opportunity she has to pick on Sena. I like that part of her as well.
