I was worried about the whole "everything that happened was for naught" concept being used here but the execution was actually pretty good.

I would say that this is the most important part of the Epilogue. It has been confirmed that her desire is to change the world. Most likely, the destruction is not literal. I think we can interpret it as the destruction of a structure/set of laws or the destruction of the former undesirable state and the recreation of a more desirable state.

The fake spoilers weren't so fake to an extent, in that sense. And yeah, it will probably be a major restructuring. Question would specifically be, what defines something as more desirable.

That is what will define the Magic God...or the one who is beyond a mere Magic God as a character. The greatest enigma behind her is her motivations.

I really loved how casually she just ended everything.

And exactly as she had announced, everything was immediately destroyed.

That was absolutely amazing. I loved it.

So... I had a random crack theory... Othinus = Aleister's wife from before. Aleister's illusions were broken because of what Magic did to his wife when she became a magic god and he tried to make her one through Aiwass and now Aleister won't do anything to stop her for that reason?... Crack theory, but made it for fun. It would be cool.

Recently, since the epilogue I really like Othinus as a character. She really has been done well. Kamachi has really started doing better recently. I'm surprised it's still possible

I would like to say that I got this implausible idea only because Aleister Crowley used his wife as a medium to communicate with Aiwass before and considering that Aleister survived... it wouldn't be that hard to believe... The fact that she is missing her eye seems to be a big deal after all...

Note: I do not think the above is true. I'm just saying it would be interesting if it were...

Exactly. All that's left is for Kamachi to develop her past and motivations as well as the true face of what her plans are.

The next 4+ months are going to be arduous. Maybe Kamachi will do 4 volumes this year to offset the fact that he only published two in 2012. Please, Kamachi.

Yeah, basically the interior. What makes her break? What will Touma do to see this... We've only seen extremely vague hints of it.

Holy crap. That ending. That was just beyond cool.

That epilogue + the Misaki scene + Mikoto and Index fightin with Touma makes this my favorite NT easily. Only slightly eclipsed by volume 22.

The only question is... Now what?
