As for Une's name, I'm just glad her original one wasn't Katrin or something. Although renaming her then would have made more sense, since there are way too many of those around.

Makes me wonder though now if the connection to Middie Une has been destroyed by that?
But wait, is Anne her first name? Wasn't that Lady in the series? Eh, I'm confused again.

Pardon me folks for going a little off-topic here, but I need your input on something. I've asked for a new thread to be created, a general discussion thread for just Wing, no FT or Glory. The mod has good reasons to hesitate, the main concerns being it potentially going up in flames due to fandumb and posters mixing in FT stuff. The latter would amount to the same as using this thread.

Now, what I would like to know is if people in this thread agree with using this thread or if they'd rather have a separate one for discussions of that kind. Personally, I don't really want to post here, since I've always felt going somewhat off-topic, even if I really enjoyed the discussions.

So, is it okay if people spam this thread with solely Wing-related stuff? If so, I won't need to plead my cause in the creation thread.

SO I was browsing the Frozen Teardrop thread over at mechatalk, and someone said, in a post theorizing that Sunrise is planning something big for Gundam Wing, that the show will begin reruns?

Is this true? I tried googling it now, no such luck. Anyone else hear of this?

-Original TV series getting a rerun soon.

For me this is Bamco's first experiment in doing an anime sequel to something not UC and capitalizing on nostalgia because of the 20th anniversary for maximum profits.

We will know the answer soon...

It sounds like he read news somewhere that reruns were happening. But, I couldn't find such info. Perhaps he means that if Bandai is planning something with the Wing series, reruns could happen? Idk, I just got curious is all.

I assume that person either got his information from the same source as balofo or balofo himself. In any case, the official Japanese site says nothing about a rerun, so I don't think one is planned.

It sucks that he's banned though. The summaries of FT were always so useful. Now I'll have to googlefish Chinese chapters again if I want to know what's going on.

...Not that I really want to. I guess a lot of lurkers are disappointed I don't do that anymore.
