at the begining of the show, yes
but time passes, and at the end of the series she is around 18 (her birthday is in december)

the same is with Natsuki. Webside says she is 16

Ahhh, you're right! I had to see episode 18 again to make sure but she does confirm that she is　 Jyu-nana - 17.

Okay thanks for the clarification...somehow I thought Natsuki said Jyu-roku 16 but I needed my memory refreshed

1) My favorite couple both in Mai Hime/Otome always Shizuru & Natsuki.
I think Natsuki is so lucky because she had Shizuru (Shizuru loves her so much)

Arika/Mashiro for me.. It's teh c8te.
Shiznat = For obvious reasons I guess. Not my favorite, but the HiME arc of them ruled.

I have to say I used to love the Shizuru/Natsuki pairing but it's all become to over done, and now I can't stand the pair. So, for me, it's Chie/Aoi.

I've a total dislike for the pairing MaixMikoto in Mai Hime, as I see it as a more mother/daughter relation

My favorite ones are NaoxNatsuki and HarukaxYukino in Mai Otome and, as much as I like Mai with Tate in Mai Hime, I would have not minded the couple MaixNatsuki

For Shizuru and Natsuki, I prefer their interaction in Mai Otome. It's more...well... balanced.

My favourite coupling in Mai-HiME is actually Mai x Tate as I mentioned alot of times before. And I did say that Mai x Mikoto is something sisterly more than anything else. Mai x Natsuki would make an interesting couple because they'll make a good pair! Fire & Ice!
