Otome cars are weird. They're not archaic per se, but they have all kinds of weird designs that are probably meant to look "otherwordly".

In fact, maybe we should start a thread about them...

That's from the Director's Cut found on the last Mai HiME DVD or something. It's a series of extra very short scenes after the ending. Most are just still pictures, though there's a short animation for that one.
