Mao is in Tokyo, randoming geassing people. The Irregulars Unit is aware of people showing symptoms of using "Refrain", but no actual drug was found in blood. So they came to the conclusion that this is the doing of the ex-Irregular who escaped from the institute years ago, Mao.

Nunnally had a fever and slept for two days after the Saitama Battle. Milly is relieved to see her fine again. Alice hugs her and ask if she has time for a little tea party after school. But Nunnally says there's a place she must go today, so they promised to have tea next time. Alice is fraustrated because sh'e eager to become good friends with Nunnally. And she later laughs at herself for becoming too much like an ordinary student.


Nunnally arrives Shijuku Ghetto, where Lelouch "died", she and Nemo met, and made a contract. She asked what Nemo knows about Zero, Lelouch, and C.C.
Nemo: Do you know the legend of Witch of Britannia?
Nunnally: You mean the English goddess who defeated the French witch Jeanne in the Hundred Years' War?
Nemo: Yes. And she's burned at the stake, like her foe Jeanne. The green-haired witch that brought chaos into this world. I'm a replica of that witch.
Nunnally: But that's hundreds of years ago! If she's alive...
Nemo: She is immortal. Now she's known as C.C.. Britannia captured her after invading Japan, to do research on her immortality. Terrorists brought her to Shinjuku, where she met your brother. And that's when I was released, and ordered to bind a contract to protect Lelouch's sister, Nunnally.
Nunnally: Wait... why does the Witch of Britannia want to protect me?
Nemo doesn't answer.

Mao appears in front of Nunnally. At the same time, Alice receives order to eliminate Mao, and heads for Shijuku Ghetto.
Mao is surprised that the witch who's been a great pain to the Irregulars is such a weak little girl.
Nunnally: Irregulars?
Mao: What are you talking about? That's the Geass Users you've been fighting in Kawaguchi Lake and Saitama!
Mao: Anyway. I'm here to solve my problems. To use Geass, one must access the Eden Vital, and obtain the power to twist the reasons of the universe. This energy is greater than a human can take. Therefore, this is the price. It erodes my body.

Mao: Since you can't see, you probably wouldn't understand the pain. To suppress the C.C. Cells planted in my body, I have to inject suppressor day after day. However, I came up with a better idea.
Mao: I will become the witch myself! Therefore, I need the witch factor in you!
Nemo: Run! Nunnally! She is Britannia's artifical Geass User, our enemy!
Mao shoots Nunnally's wheelchair, knocking her on the floor. Nemo summons Mark Nemo. But Mao uses her geass.

Mao: This is my geass, The Refrain! The White Witch- Nunnally vi Britannia, I'll lead you to the prison of happiness!

Code 12 - Prison of Happiness 2 - Summer Days That Will Never Return

"Mother, my gentle mother, turns into a cold body before me. Her beautiful black hair drenched in blood. The gun that killed mother, now points at me. Am I going to die? But if that means I can be with mother... WhenI hear a gunshot, a green-haired woman stands in front of me. She's the Witch of Britannia! The legendary witch! That's the first thought that comes to my head. When I wake up again, I have lost my freedom and light."

Mao and Nemo sees Nunnally's memories, from Nunnally's POV because she's under Refrain. The part in Japan is also in Suzaku's POV because he's telling this to Euphemia. This part basically follows the Picture Drama and Sound Episodes (except for some details). Lelouch & Suzaku met, fight, and finally become friends after Suzaku saves Nunnally. The 3 of them became best friends, just 2 months before the invasion of Japan.

(Cute little Kaguya, the princess of Japan, picks on Nunnally. Then Suzaku picks on Kaguya for bullying people weaker than her.)

Code 13 - Prison of Happiness 3 - Summer Days That Will Never Return

Alice: We Irregulars are chosen from "Areas", implanted with the witch C.C.'s cells, and become artificial Geass Users. The C.C. Cells in body creates an interface to connect to Eden Vital. However, implanting the evil witch's cells erodes and corrupts the body. To prevent this, we inject suppressor to control the cell proliferation. Therefore, we become slaves of Britannia, bond by the suppressor. Mao doesn't like this. One day she disappeared with a large amount of suppressor with her. Mao, why have you returned? What do you see in Area 11 that's worth risking your life for?

Nunnally's memory continues, until suddenly reaching the D.O.M. Hostia geass symbol.
Nemo: This is... Nunnally's memory, under a seal?

Nunnally wakes up. She can feel Lelouch in the same room, but unconscious. Kururugi Genbu is furious at things going out of control, and is ready to kill Lelouch. When he is about to pull the trigger, Nunnally screams, "No!!! Don't take him away from me!!!"

Genbu grasps his chest in pain.
A voice says, "stop! You can't control this power yet!"
Genbu clenches his teeth and points the gun at Nunnally. "Nunna...lly? Of course! You're the daughter of that emperor and Marianne!"

C.C. appears and cuts his throat.
C.C.: Kurururgi Genbu, I'll take your life. Marianne's daughter shall not stain her hands.

Suzaku: When we rushed into the basement after hearing a gunshot, we saw my father dead, Lelouch and Nunnally unconscious, and... a green-hair woman.

Nunnally: It's comfortable in Ashford, but mother and Suzaku aren't here. And now onisama is gone, too.
A parrot answers her: That's right. Your comfortable life now is like a caged bird. See? I can send you back to that summer.
Nunnally smiles.

Nemo no longer looks human, but back in her mud doll form when she first met Nunnally.
Nemo: Nunnally is trapped looping in her memory! It's too difficult to maintain the contract this way...
Mao drags Nemo out of Nunnally's chest.
Mao: Yes. Nunnally. Enjoy yourself in the sweet memory of yours. With this relic, I can become a real witch!

Nemo suddenly begins to change....

"Are you trying to destroy my sister with this wretched method? You artifical Geass User!"
"You... but how?"
"Foolish one. If you yearn my power so much..."

Mao escapes from C.C., only to find Alice waiting for her outside, with Mao's suitcase. She aims at the suitcase. Mao shouts, "stop! Those are my last doses of suppressor!" and tries to geass her.
Alice: Your Refrain can't win against my Speed. Being an ex-Irregular, you should have know better.

Alice shoots Mao's suitcase, and watches Mao scream while her body starts to fall apart.
Mao: Don't forget, Alice, this is the end all of us Irregulars will face!

After Mao's death, Alice went inside and found Nunnally unconscious. She carries her back to Ashford, thinking to herself, not even Ashford is safe enough. I will protect Nunnally!

In the mean time, the Cult is also on the move since the Cardinal is now sure that the witch has contected Nunnally.

Took me all night again. I end up translating more than expected because this part is mostly mystery solving. XD

Lol I didn't know this thread even existed.
So how many chapters of are there for each?
I get my readings from different sources so I don't think I have them all.
So far, I have 6 Lelouch of the Rebellion, only 1 Suzaku of the Counterattack
And, apparently there's 13 Nightmare of Nunnally? (I only have 3 )

I know there are 5 volumes of Lelouch of the Rebellion, so that makes 22 chapters or so? (just going by vol. 4 having five chapters).

Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed by the art. I usually don't like manga adaptations because the art suffers from anime->manga, or vice versa.. but that is definitely not the case for LotR.

The three titles are a bit different from the anime.

Knightmare of Nunnally focuses on Nunnally as the main character in the story. She receives her own Geass and Lelouche disappears along with C.C. after an incident in Shinjuku.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion is adapted from the Code Geass anime. They change the storyline a bit from how Lelouch carries out his plans to how he meets Kallen and the rest of the gang.

Code Geass: Suzaku of the Counterattack follows Suzaku's side of the story.

A little more information:
There are no KMF in Lelouch of the Rebellion manga.
Suzaku is piloting some kind of super-suit in Suzaku of the Counterattack. Think about Robocop or something.
And there is Lelouch and C.C in Nunnally's manga. And they are both... very different from anime version. Still, awesome.

And it seems that Lelouch's manga is now drawn in better. Damn gorgeous now.

Seeing how the manga is going I'm VERY interest in seeing how the manga version ends. Without KMFs it's hard to see how you get the same ending.

Not to mention what all those Lelouch/Kallen moments are like in the manga.

Suzaku of the Counterattack is very similar to Char's Counterattack, whereas
The Rebellion of Char (Gundam Musou 2) is very similar to the Rebellion of Lelouch. Interesting!

I've looked it up in the States. Only manga that is out is the standard LotR (Lelouch of the Rebellion).
I can't find anything on Nightmare for Nunnally or Suzaku of the Counterstrike.
I tried checking Bandai Entertainment's official website, but there is VERY little information there. The site looks pathetic too. Looks like something I would of designed back in high school.
