It looks like Shion got the Cronenberg skill. I'm assuming the mist was hiding how horrifying the new bodies of those guys were like before Diablo fixed them.

I was expecting the rematch against Hinata to be a curbstomp but it looks like she'll be getting a power-up of her own going by the opening. Though given the precedent, maybe that rematch won't actually happen until season 4

Loved how Shion had trouble hiding she had no idea what Rimuru and Diablo were discussing. That woman is all muscle and boobs.

It wasn't a thrilling episode. But it did a lot of important political work. So that's fine.

Gotta clean up that whole insane mess from the previous season. A lot of work to settle things down, but unavoidable if they want a setting that has logical cohesion. Shion is good for smashing things, but getting Diablo was an absolute win for Rimuru. Someone that can handle all that ugly stuff and smooth out the process.

Nice to see Milim as always. A brief dose of her cute energy is always appreciated.

Which looks even bigger than they did last season .

Shion's jacket is putting in a noble effort at keeping those jugs contained, lol. I lol'd at both her expression when the convo was clearly over her head and Mjurran's expressions when the nobles were poking the Diablo-bear Dude should thank Razen for saving his life, he had no idea how much danger he was in heh.

It was funny how Rimuru was treating Milim by her age-appearance, withholding the liquor lol. She's like thousands of years older than him, but then, given how she acts one can forgive him for thinking of her as an exuberant little sister hehe.

I hope the show's popularity keeps on keeping on. I'm looking forward to seeing the books animated.

Whatever her actual age, I don't think anyone wants to deal with drunk Milim...

God that would be a headache Also given her power level, potentially disastrous if she lets loose in a drunken stupor lol

We finally catch up with the closest thing we have to main villains behind the scenes as Yuuki and the clowns react to Clayman's death and process their grief in their own way, but they also have to recognize that they underestimated Rimuru and Tempest and they don't have much of a base to retaliate right now...though Yuuki isn't satisfied with just letting Rimuru savor this win, and is willing to do something...or sick someONE on Rimuru. Like Hinata .

Hinata sought strength, not wanting to rely on Shizu, which took her to the Holy Empire Lubelius where she joined the Holy Knights and worked her way up...though what seemed like a utopia of a nation was in-fact being run by none other than Vampires and Demon Lords, so of course she tried to take them down and even beat Roy and Louis...but she never stood a chance against the true Demon Lord Valentine, Luminous. And yet she caught Luminous' interest and was able to accept and stay loyal to a nation run by a noble vampire .

So...are they prepping for some Holy War against Angels? That's why they're holy creed is so harsh against monsters? Because if monsters, like in Tempest, rise up it'll catch the interest of the Angels too soon ?

Bold of Hinata to think she can take on Veldora, though that might be fun to see. But it's a rematch with Rimuru that is fated for her future .

Sorry Roy, your own brother won't mourn you, though at least Luminous seems sad you're gone when she didn't want to part with either you or your brother (probably because you're one of the few who have lived as long as she has). Though they have more to worry about in regards to what to do about Tempest and Rimuru being accepted as a Demon Lord. Make them allies? Is that possible with Luminous' mission? Probably better not to make him an enemy at the very least .

At least Hinata seems self-aware enough to acknowledge maybe Rimuru might have had a point and she might have been a bit overzealous...even if she can't help but be true to her convictions, however rigid. She's also aware that Yuuki might have been manipulating her, which he fully intends to do again .

I just find it funny that Hinata is known as a "beauty" and "vixen" even though it doesn't fit her personality at all .

Well, Falmuth really doesn't have any other choice but to pay reparations, and have the king abdicate, even if most of his advisers don't want to give in to Tempest' demand and retain their dignity as a nation...but they're dealing with an opposing nation they can't beat, run by a new Demon Lord, so they really can't fight this. Though I don't trust the kings' successor Edward, he looks like he's plotting something .

Decent episode. Good reminders of what even happened in the last season . And looking into the political situations of other nations. Hinata has quite a bit on her plate. Though no surprise that even one of the most powerful humans in the land is working underneath a powerful Vampire Demon Lord. Humanity just can't compare in a setting like this.

And the case is mostly closed on that whole Falmuth situation. Sure the brother appears to be an idiot that will cause minor trouble, but he's human so the trouble really will be minor. And obviously any minor issues have already been taken into consideration.

Once a show has come this far you really can go a whole episode will basically no appearance made by the main character .

I feel like any of these insanely powerful beings getting intoxicated is a bad move. But if they are going there anyways then excluding their elder seems a questionable choice. Fine that Milim is going along with it. But if she gets obstinate about it then you'll have an angry Milim and then a drunk angry Milim...

This really has become a show about meetings, huh

Glad Yuuki suffered some a major setback, and hopefully his retaliation will be nipped in the bud.

Luminous seems like a very reasonable Demon Lord and a benevolent ruler, to the point Hinata even got over her prejudice against vampires and decided to serve under her. Hinata is not a complete fool and understands now that she was manipulated into going after Rimuru, and is now more willing to listen to his side of the story. For now though, it seems like Luminous will use Tempest to divert the attention of... angels?! Well, why not.

It's really hard to imagine he'll be able to cause trouble for Tempest. And I'm pretty sure Diablos is the one who told the King to hand over the throne to his brother rather than his son.

A part of me wonders if all this politicking and subterfuge is partially to write around how powerful Tempest is now.

I can't wait to see Yuuki smashed into oblivion. I hate betrayal / false people. He came on like he's a friend to Rimuru during the teacher phase and all. Hinata may have tried to kill him, but at least she was straight up about it. Surprised there wasn't more "we have to kill that slime!" from the clown squad regarding the death of Clayman.

Need moar sexy Luminous shots. Silver haired women with heterochromia are hot, heh.

A small fact about Roy they left out. He's not so much a brother as Luminous ripped Luis in half to teach him humility and now that Roy is dead all his power returned to Luis

Well, that explains why Louis gave no shit about his "brother"'s death.

It's almost the whole gang together again! We've even got Shuna cuddling up to Rimuru! And some of the missing members of the group...are currently handling other problems. Ah, the power of delegating...not that Rimuru would know, because he totally takes personal responsibility and handles things himself instead of giving that duty to anyone else, right Raphael ?

It's nice to know you have a tight ship that can basically run itself...but then what is Rimuru there for? To look cute and get praised? Wait, don't answer that .

Well, Falmuth has paid reparations and changed kings, but it seems like they're bound to erupt with the tensions over Tempest and the current deal they have in place (while the former king is now under Youm's protection) which is the perfect opportunity for Tempest to strike. Meanwhile Shion is trying desperately to follow the political talk .

GABIRU!!! And he brings word from Milim that he wants Tempest to teach her people how to actually cook so she doesn't have to live with their plain food. She's already given Rimuru enough work with the job she did in Eurazia, but it's the least her bestie can do .

Geld! Struggling with organizing a group of races and people he's not familiar with, but that's just what happens in management. At least Rimuru, as a former salaryman, knows the best cure...going out for drinks and complaining about your problems to bartender Treyni! And unlike real salarymen, you can't get drunk! It's perfect !

Got to get to work on that bridge for peaceful negotiations! But that also means dealing with Tengu !

Benimaru and Albis may have a thing going, huh? Man, the girls sure turned on Benimaru over it. Good thing Rimuru will never lose faith in his bro .

Hakuro! Letting Rimuru know about some ancient elven ruins he can investigate when he has the time .

Nice to see everybody together for Rimuru's official Demon Lord congratualtion meeting...but that means now Rimuru has even MORE people he has to meet, greet, and get along with. So why not save the trouble, along with everything else going on, and make a party out of it? Announce his Demon Lord status, introduce himself to new allies, maybe hire some new laborers, and have some fun? No one throws a party like Tempest after all .

The content of the episode lived up to its title. It was peaceful. Almost felt like an episode of Slime Diaries.
