Chemistry help
It's the week before finals... it's actually the last day for any work before the finals. My chemistry teacher decided that was the best time to give me my make up assignments. Because of AP testing, illnesses and wat not ive ran into couple of make up assignments. Also because my chem teacher gives work maybe 3 times a day. Very few lectures.
Anyway, that was to make u sympathize me. I have ALOT of work today, and i only have one day. One of these projects is to make up for the pop quizes i missed. I cant seem to find the info needed for this one... i was never good with google. The question is "What substances are used to make perfumes and colognes and where do they come from?" Im supposed to write couple of pages on that topic. I was wondering if anyone knew a link or some info to help me in this topic. I just cant seem to find the right information on the internet. Thanks in advance for anything PS> plz dont give false information as a joke. |

Easy
You take something that smells nice such as the ass of a musk deer And soak it in alcohol. I'm sorry I can't give you more but that's really all there is to it. Something smelly + booze = perfume Your chemsitry teacher should be happy if you write some pages about Esters though |

Try "Fragrances + Chemistry" on google:
Results for example include: http://depts.washington.edu/rural/RU...s/perfume.html or http://www.schoolscience.co.uk/conte...mistry/smells/ hope this helps! |
