Makes no sense, first he doesn't sees Sora in a romantic light so far and second, after all the sacrifices he did for the girls sake, doesn't he deserves to follow his own happiness for once?

If he just rejects her for Sora then I demand a perfect reasonable argument why.

Or maybe Yuuta rejects her for some dumb reason and it's Sora the one who puts some sense into him. That could be the Plot for the next volume.

Probably, Yuuta was aware of Sora's feelings for him all along.

Well, like I said so far one of the reasons she usually gets angry at Yuuta is because he treats her like he does with Hina/Miu. Him noticing it is one thing, another different one is him feeling the same for Sora contrary to what 16 previous novels did show

That means it's been 4 years since the start of the story. From all the info in Japanese I got, the first 15 volumes cover over a year period in the story. Then, Vol 16 takes place half a year after Vol 15, which Miu just entered middle school and Sora just entered high school. So in Vol 16 it was 2 years after the start of story, which means there was a 2 year time skip between Vol 16 & 17. Can anyone confirm this?

I just hope this isn't the typical trope of "best girl confessing a little before the end to the MC just to him realizing his feelings for the female heroine (usually a tsundere) and rejects the best girl to go with the heroine" like happened in so many other LN and mangas like recently Oreimo and lots of others before...

Cuz this is the penultimate volume, I'm guessing his reply will be he loves her too (its obv he does), but they can't be together as it would make Sora sad or something. This will prolly create the drama for the final volume and an eventual resolution.

Volume 8: For a similar reason he got angry in the latest OVA

During Hina's birthday party she slept for a while and when she woke up the others told her mama and papa visited her while she was asleep and brought her a present and had to leave. When the others fell asleep she got the idea she might catch up to her mama and papa if she goes after them right now and she left the house alone with the dog to accompany her. The scene in the illustration is when they found her.

Sora's mother: In a volume they were able to guess whet the password for Shingo's computer and there were many pictures of Sora's mother. The password was dates that had something to do with the girls. In volume 12 chapter 5

Spoiler for volume 12:

Sasha reveals something important to Sora. There was a storage space inside the house even the girls weren't aware of. Shingo had hidden there Sora's mother's belongings when he got married to Sasha. There were old clothes, like her high school uniform, old pictures that weren't in the pc, like from when she was in high school:
"from a summer festival, her mother is biting cuttlefish. The next page is her mother playing volleyball, but unfortunately she did not hit the ball."

Inside that room there was also...
"...a thin booklet. Her mother's name was written on the paper.
"Diary ... diary?"

Her mother was sick and in the diary she was writting her thoughts while she was hospitalized, that she has to get well soon to return to her daughter. (There is more like that, this is just a sample from what is in the diary):
"I've been thinking about Sora. When she will go to kindergarten wearing a uniform, to Elementary School carrying a shoulder bag.To the upper primary, will she help me to do housework? Junior high school will secretly told me, 'Mom, I have a someone I like'.

A few days after that a large section of it is blank.

The diary entry continues: Now, Sora, you have to remember. Mom always loved you. Even though I have been unable to say it, I love you. I will always be your mother forever. Sorry, Sora, your mother can not accompany you by your side. . .I'm sorry. . .


That was the last diary entry.

They didn't need a summary; that cover is enough of a spark for conversation on its own.

Honestly, I hope big spoiler. I must confess that I've always rooted for Sora. But that cover seems to make it too obvious to be true......

I personally don't ship it. I really do hope it ain't true since it seems to contradict a lot of stuff from past volumes.
