i prefered using the bow. one of the passive gives bow 15% damage more.
and it fires faster than the crossbow. as for the hand crossbow, unless you
have lots of gold later to buy two of them for good damage, i dont recommend using it right now.

unless hand crossbow is all you got for now. i would rather use bow still...personal preference.

Also, witch doctor? who's that? they are so awesome that blizzard didnt even bother
nerfing them versus other classes. it seems WD has been long forgotten...

Aside from the useless summon stuff (yeah, I'm waiting for that patch), my WD is still doing well in Inferno. Just wished they have stronger debuff than what they are having.

But it's better to use my Wiz for hunting gear for my WD, since my Wiz is more well geared than the WD anyway. The WD is more fragile than any Wiz out there, so building glass cannon is kinda risky. The only problem is my luck. I keep getting stuff like dex and str stuffs and then giving them all away to my friends, but haven't gotten any decent loots for my WD, so I guess it's still be a long time until the day I see my WD wrecking havoc again . Especially now it takes me roughly 30 to 40 minutes for one Belial run, and I'm kinda busy so it's only once or twice a day.

Another reason when I asked around, is that WD just ugly that people refuse to play him.

someone (or more) is cashing in on RMAH commodity sale. tome of secret price has shot up. flawless square emeralds costs 1.7k each now while the other colors are stuck at 100-300 each. some bastard is selling radiant emerald star gems for cash.

There are people out there who actually craft yellow items constantly. So they need them. I also use them to craft star gems to sell, but my profit margin is too low to be economical to buy the ToS off the AH.

thanks. that's actually news for me. i usually just go for checking on weapons and
armors pieces when i go on the AH. i completely overlook the tomb of secret.

i might have to sell some of those next time i log in.

but seriously Myssa, i wouldnt even spend a dollar on the RMAH. would you?

You can get real money, but to get it out into the real world you need to have a paypal account. And Paypal charge you an extra tax to do so.

Actually you CAN get renumeration in (technically) real money: instead of choosing a Battlenet balance, select Paypal instead. The transfer fee is 15% though, which is why many people don't use it. Not really suggested, unless you're going for a guaranteed sale for a big-price item.

Right now, I'm staring at a 10 USD Battlenet balance AND an $18.25 Paypal balance (due to a witchdoctor fetish I sold a while back). The latter I can use for whatever purchase I would like that accepts Paypal like, oh, Amazon or Ebay...

Xefi: Honestly I think whatever earnings of casuals (like I assume to be all of us here) is going to end up pretty meager in the scheme of things. Hence my comment that looking through the RMAH prices for radiant stars made me roll my eyes, as they're not something we can likely even afford.

true. i doubt most of us will ever use RMAH to actually buy stuffs anyway, but rather just
sell them and maybe get some little money out of them.

but anyways beside that, have you look into using hand bow, crossbow or bow yet?
i still suggest you use bow! lol.

I'm currently using dual hand crossbows, as somehow I managed to break the 2 attacks per second mark with them. Pretty good for Normal, but once I get to nightmare I might have to rethink my plans and shift to a bow plus quiver.

on a side note, i havent even use dual hand crossbows before at all. i heard
that if you can get 2 of them with socket, some critical hit damage, and some
discipline (spelling?) you can kick a lot of butts. but they're very pricey.

the cheap way is bow and quiver. i made it through inferno act 2 just fine with
them. i bought a bow with 890 dps, 30% damage, 100 vit, and a socket (i socket
it with a star emerald) for about 1.5 million gold. my current dps is around 37k.

but i think you do well with just a bow for now. crossbow is ok too if you're looking
into critical hit damage. crossbow just too slow for me to kite with though.

but yeah, you'll probably need a better DPS bow on later difficulties. hand bow wont
do much DPS even if you're shooting it very fast. *says Xefi whose never use a hand bow before* lol.

EDIT: oh yeah, i'm still stuck at inferno Beliah. god i hate that boss. why do we have 3 stages for that boss? *sigh*

yeah, because those butterflies can kill you just as fast as Beatrice's butterflies kill a person.
OMG, no wonder she was SO hard (not really). i think her minions chasing me around
were much more entertaining...ha ha. each one of them holding a mace ready to 1-hit you to Mars.

my favorite trolls in this game were those monsters from act IV. some kind demon
or something appears out of no where and whack...you're dead. my gosh, it only
gives you like .2 second to react! also, those other demons that rush at you out
of the screen and boom 1-hit, you're dead as well...lol. dont you just LOVE them?!

Did Blizzard nerf the tongue monsters? Because they don't seem to jump towards my DH like I expect them to anymore.
