Mikuru is hard to draw, I can't seem to get her expression right. Haruhi is pretty easy.

It's in the final seconds of the OP animation. Besides, it's not like she's a prodigy "out of nowhere" if we've already established that Haruhi is naturally good at everything she does.

This thread isn't really the place for this discussion... since it's rather strictly limited to Image discussion, and we're wildly veering off-topic, but Mary-Sue character's are the main characters in the fan-fict stories they ruin. Not the case here as Haruhi isn't the main character. But still, wildly off-topic, I'd recommend going to another thread if you want to pursue that observation. It doesn't belong here.
