When I am playing with the japanese word I came across an interesting info regarding Tagitsu-hime, she is actually belong to a group of 3 goddesses from Japanese legend/folklore. Basically if the series follow that legend, it is possible there are 2 other ‘-hime’ still around.

I am not quite sure how her mother was able to posses Kanami but whatever, great fight, liked it a lot. A little shame how there was no "sacrifice" to fight off the great god of evil, neither back then with the mothers nor now with the daughters but that was to be expected. Same with Yume's death, shame there too, was my fav elite guard. Also Nr1 Elite guard did nothing and just watched, laaaame~

I'm really hoping that they just go full on CG with all the fights in the second half. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the series' CG fights are some of the best I've ever seen in Japanese animation.

That one particular scene where Yume transitions from CGI to 2D animation was quite flawless, and Minato!Kanami fighting against Tagitsuhime was quite a spectacle. (There were seven blade switches over a quick-paced 10-second brawl against the Great Aradama.) I also haven't actually seen CGI used to make sword combat as accurate as possible. Some people claim that playing the fight scenes frame by frame exposes the extreme attention to detail by the CGI team.

Toji no Miko employs Hisane Kannazuki (@k_hisane) for kenjutsu supervision together with Kobujutsu Touzen Zefu-kai (@zefu_kai) as a collaborator.

Maybe, since Kanami & the girls will be hail as current generation of heroes according to next episode preview. But in the preview the new girl seems to be a serious type by looking at her face.

My theory stands correct most likely, according to japanese legend Tagitsu-hime(Yukari) is part of a group consist of 3 “Hime”/goddesses. And in the op song Yukari standing in middle of a few scene is actually depicted like a goddess, together with other 2 entities beside her. Secondly what seem to be another faction with the 2 corrupted school headmistress. Seems like a possible multiple opponents in this second half of the series.
