I usually don't vote on episode polls even if I think the episode deserves a 10 but this time its different. Heck! this episode is insanely good! I probably scratched my media player for rewinding the Asakura fight scene way too much. if there was a score above 10 I'd vote for it. I liked every second of this episode.
The time when Haruhi just stood up and said she was going home the moment Kyon was 'erasing' Mikuru's pics was scary. It looks as if Haruhi was about to attack Mikuru when she bumped on to her on the way out. |

I've been waiting for this episode ever since I read the relevant novel chapter translation. This is a big part of the reason I'm a Yuki fan now, instead of a Mikuru fan. Unfortunately, I'm staying at my brother's house for a week, so I won't be able to watch it until sunday at the earliest... He has a decent system, but it doesn't have speakers... I'm going to have a lot to download once I get back...

Just watched the raw...
The battle scene is supposed to be brillant, and indeed it is... Though... When I was watching it a word just popped up and it's no longer brillant: "Gate of Babylon" If you watched the recent Fate/Stay Night episodes you'll understand... I mean...did both anime company co-operate or something? oh my... Last edited by iamandragon; 2006-06-05 at 12:27. |

I can't help but feel you are trying to insult someone... "No longer brilliant"? How? Because another show had projectile attacks? I suppose you believe FSN invented the "projectiles everywhere" attack. A silly, and bordering on rude, concept.

A bit wrong...the Integrated Data Entity have been existing all along. Haruhi is not required for them to exist. Haruhi is required for them to be interested and send Nagato and co. to earth.
P.S. Check this out--my first time editing images. http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...postcount=1824 Last edited by iamandragon; 2006-06-05 at 13:28. |

Well Nagato actually confirmed that there is more than 1 agent of the data entity on earth (so she's not technically the 'sole' observer). Data entity exists outside of the bound of space-time, making this entity perhaps divine from the eyes of human being. Their thought can go from past to present and future simutaneously, however they could not further themselves since they cannot get through this knowing all stumbling block.

You're mixing up Mikuru's story with Yuki's.
Yuki herself was created three years ago to observe Haruhi after the IDE noticed a explosion of new information coming from Haruhi, but they existed and had access to past more than 3 years ago; whereas Mikuru's future people found out they couldn't travel more than 3 years into the past (from Kyon's standpoint). |
