Plot Summary/Premise

In the future, Nikola Tesla's dream of a 'World System' of electricity is realized. Cords and batteries are a thing of the past, and now people can directly draw energy using devices known as 'coils.' Some people, however, modify these coils for destructive purposes. Mabuchi Kyoma, a man who lives in ruins and has a passion for 'vintage' gas-powered cars, has good reason to know what damage these coils can do. He takes on assignments from a large woman known as Marie, recovering illegal coils in exchange for cash and gasoline.

One day, he goes out on one of his usual missions, to retrieve illegal coils from two criminal brothers, Jony and Every Won. When he gets to their gang's hideout, however, there is another stranger there: a mysterious, cloaked captive that appears to be a young lady. Who is she and will this meeting change Kyoma's life?

At the Anime Expo, Funimation just announced a new anime adaptation based on the manga, 'Dimension W'. They will be part of the committee for the anime.

What kind of committee, though? Worst-case scenario is that Funi would cause the blunder of this series.

7+ volumes with 8th to debut this year.

Not entirely sure yet but they will definitely play some role in production.

It will be made by Studio 3hz (Sora no Method) and 3DCG studio Orange BTW. And they also announced staff.

To bad PV is regional blocked. I could understand why Funimation block their PVs for Russia. But why for Ukraine to?

Pretty sure it's not because of Russia or Ukraine, but rather because "Not USA".

Oh wow I wasn't expecting this one. It's a good manga but a bit heavy on details. Will be interested in seeing how it's handled.
Music from the pv sounds like Kato Tatsuya, which if it is will be great.

Studio 3Hz going from SoL/drama to something more futuristic and action-driven, not bad at all. Also: robot girl spotted = instant watch.

Studio 3Hz's Sora no Method had very good animation. Hopefully they pull action show as well. Orange's CGI is top tier. Especially mecha fights in MJP and CG Akito OVA.

the PV looks good, they seems to be adapting the original art very faithfully (which for once i wouldn't have minded if they had changed it, the original doesn't look really impressive)

the story being almost episodic should help with avoiding original endings

the setting and world building are the redeeming qualities of the serie

The PV looks okay. The main dude looks like Dingo (Expelled from Paradise), but Dingo was more cooler. The voice acting of the green haired girl is a bit off. Her only sentence did not sound right at all considering what she said. I'm not sure what to expect here.
