Problems with the subtitles themselves

I have VLC, and when I run the subtitles, they run off either end of the screen and sometimes overlap. Is there a way to shrink the subtitles?

I had the same Explorer crashing problem, but I started using Media Player Classic and the OGM file would play. For everything else though I had the same problem. BSPlayer, VideoLAN, they all forced my computer to restart when I tried to play OGM files. Regardless, Media Player Classic makes me crash if I open the episode directly, but if i open MPC first, and drag the ep into it it plays just fine.

well you just need to demux the streams, thats all.
google for "OGMDemuxer"

oh you might want to mux the streams back into an avi file
look for "avimux", remember you cannot mux ogg into avi !
