As a Belkaranger, Mayura typically uses the team’s standard “Adventure” barrier jacket designed by Asagi, which she based on the Boukenger suit. While the Adventure form provides excellent all-around protection from physical and magic attacks up to AAA+, and handy utility features, Mayura also has two more alternative Barrier Jacket forms which are designed to better suit her needs as a close combat martial artist.

The first of these is the Roaring Dragon Form, which is based on the Haken Lee dueling uniform that is worn during official matches against other schools. Mayura’s uniform provides superior physical upper body protection, gives her arms better freedom and mobility essential in performing her various fist attacks, and the heavier boots provide improved damage in kicking. Also, Blast Impulse spells are automatically cast when Roaring Dragon Form is active, freeing Mayura to focus on her technique.

The second form is the Noble Eagle Form, designed for high-speed combat. Based on a short-skirted Chinese cheongsam, the lightweight barrier jacket improves Mayura’s agility and movement through the use of a passively active Sonic Drive spell, at the cost of severe penalties to defense.

Switching constantly between these three barrier jackets constantly is one of Mayura’s trademark tricks, and she can do so quickly at whim, giving her outstanding versatility in adapting to any situation.

Asagi’s influence though seems to have rubbed off Mayura, and like the former she sometimes like to show off her barrier jackets in long, flashy and stylistic transformation scenes, typically imitating the standard Gekiranger or Gaoranger sequences, with Mayura using her Acellular for the latter. She has also been known to perform the Gingaman sequence, using a bezelled watch as props.

And finally, Mayura has performed just about every known Kamen Rider henshin sequence known to man.

Skills and Abilities:

Mayura Labatt is officially ranked as a AA+ ground combat Knight, even though her magical rank is only ranked at B+, a magical aptitude much higher than Asagi’s. Despite this, Mayura relies even less on her magic than Asagi, using only her years of training in the martial arts to dispatch most enemies, including inorganic enemies.

Mayura’s greatest weapon is her body, built up, conditioned and toughened through years of intensive training from an early age. In line with her belief in balance, Mayura has conditioned her body to be both tough yet flexible, incredibly solid yet nimble, using a combination of aerobic martial arts and anaerobic training to strengthen her body and reflexes, and gymnastics to improve dexterity.

All these is a requirement for Mayura to perform her style of combat known as the “Gaoleon” style, a branch of the Haken Lee style that prides itself in its efficiency and lethality. This style is characterized by fast, calculated strikes that sheperd the enemy into the ideal position for the final killer strike, which more often than not completely debilitates the enemy.

(It is noted that this style is similar to Asagi’s stratagem in dueling – because Mayura taught her this principle in the first place).

The finishing strikes work on the basic martial arts principle of targeting one’s anatomical pressure points, but done so with a speed and ferocity that can disable all of a person’s functions in the space of a few well-placed strikes, usually in the blink of an eye. And Mayura’s dexterity allows her to achieve unusual positions and maneuvers that she can use to create or exploit an otherwise hidden opening in her opponent’s defense, performed with such elegance and grace that it appears like a choreographed dance routine.

Mayura though is not above using pure and direct brute force, especially against non-humanoid or mechanical opponents with no obvious weakspots or pressure points, in which case Mayura’s physical strength has proven itself time and time again to be more than adequate for the job, capable of lifting 150% of her own body weight without magical augmentation, and she can lift even more with Impulse Spells. In terms of power, her fists have been known to shatter bricks with little difficulty, and she has been known to knock out brutes twice her own size and weight with a single blow.

While Mayura specializes first and foremost in hand-to-hand combat, she tries to avoid relying too much on her fists and legs, and often trains in the use of various magical and non-magical martial arts weapons and devices. She prefers weapons that deal blunt-force damage, including knuckles, tonfas and quarterstaffs, though she is also knowledgeable in the use of claw weapons.

Like many close combat fighters, Mayura is lacking in ranged attacks, relying on speed, agility and surprise to bring ranged fighters to her element. Caught out in the open, Mayura is vulnerable to expertly placed stand-off bombardment from buster and shooting attacks.

Devices:

Like Asagi, Mayura’s style of combat relies less on weapons and more on personal skill and power, though as a Knight Mayura seeks to utilize any and all advantages she may get to improve her style.

Gekichanger “Jan” -

While Mayura is not known for plagiarism of Asagi’s level, she still knows a good concept to rip when she sees one, and this stylized gauntlet’s design is taken directly from its TV counterpart. Another device created by Aurion Dauer as a request, the Gekichanger acts as Mayura’s primary intelligent Armed device, heavily strengthened and reinforced to withstand the harsh abuse of close combat. Its primary function is to control and maintain the various Impulse spells and Barrier Jacket modes that Mayura uses, freeing her to concentrate on combat and less on spell-casting. A special feature of the Gekichanger is its Recoil Return ability, a magical function that absorbs kinetic energy from the backlash of a punch and expends it outward. This not only reduces the physical recoil felt by Mayura during a punch, but it also increases the energy in her attack twofold, making her fists even deadlier than before.

As Mayura rarely relies on her magic the Gekichanger is not equipped with a cartridge system despite being classified as an Armed Device. She can summon up to two Gekichangers, one for each arm, and its storage form is that of a black and orange wristband on her right arm. Also, Mayura calls the female AI “Jan”, after GekiYellow’s real name in Gekiranger.

And no, Mayura’s Gekichanger does not summon Gekiwaza.

Super GekiClaw -



A surprise gift Mayura received from Asagi during her 19th birthday, the Super GekiClaw (or SG-Claw as Mayura calls it) is another Gekiranger-inspired device, based on the weapon of the same name. It is used in engagements where Mayura requires more magical power, and the SG-Claw is equipped with an 8-round pistol cartridge system to enhance her spell’s potency. The SG-Claw is stored inside the Gekichanger when not in use.

“Bo” -



A simple storage device in the form of a plain wooden quarterstaff, used when Mayura needs to outrange her enemies in melee. Mayura named it after the Japanese “Bo” staff.

“Ton” -



Another storage device, this time a pair of black tonfas. Named after the first syllable in “tonfa”.

Survi-Buster (Mayura):



Standard equipment for the Belkarangers created by Aurion Dauer from Asagi’s requests, inspired by the weapon of the same name in the Super Sentai title GoGo Sentai Boukenger. Like in the show, the Survi-Buster is a pistol-like device that can transform into a sword called the Survi-Blade, and it is used by the Belkarangers when casting ranged spells. Each of the Belkaranger’s Survi-Busters are customized for their specific needs, and in Mayura’s case her Survi-Blade’s edges are blunt, allowing her to more effectively apply Blast Impulse spells when using it.

Auxilliary Devices:

Acellular –



Straight out of Boukenger is the Belkarangers all-in-one multipurpose device, the Accelular. This signature cell-phone like device performs almost every function its original can in the show, including cellular phone communication, compass navigation and ultraviolet blacklight. It also has various scanners and sensors that give it incredible detection abilities, ranging from infrared detection to magic scanning.

While similar in many respects to the original, several changes and improvements have been made to the design, like the replacement of the main LCD display with a 3-D holographic screen and projector, and tougher materials and construction, allowing it to withstand the harsh rigors of field use. Also, the Belkaranger’s intelligent device AI’s can interface with each other through the Accelular’s computer. And like in the show, the GoGo Turbine is used in the mandatory transformation posing sequences (even though their base intelligent devices perform the actual transformation).

While Julie and Mayura’s Accelulars are kept in hip-holsters, Mayura’s copy is kept in a customized belt buckle, held in place by a hinged mount. This serves no other purpose than for Mayura to be able to act out new age Kamen Rider style Henshins.

No, We've had problems with it since day 1, just that our efforts were directed at the overwhelming force that the suit provided to the user. What it looked like/ what it was a secondary concern at the time. Frankly it still is at this time since you've only made the artillery mode a module, instead of the majority of the availble weapon systems.

I for one am against the use of power armour in the Nanohaverse since it doesn't fit with how the series has been constucted thus far. Canon will always be one the yardsticks that I compare things to. Diverge too far from it and your ideas will instantly be subject to closer scrutiny than OC's that live within canon or ae just outside what Canon shows. I'm not sure who it was in the beginning that asked for the exec summary, but something like that would go a long way towards having the idea accepted here in thread. Provided that you give a reason, a good reason as to why you want/need the armour in the first place.

If you recall, I was the one who first called the suit an attempt to make the series into Magical Girl Gundam Nanoha. One of the reasons behind this, aside from the tremendous arseanal that the suit had in the beginning(which would have truly have made it a super gundam in terms of the Nanohaverse) was that there was and still isn't an explanation as to why the suit is necessary to be developed in the first place, giving me the impression of someone who was trying to bash a square peg into a circular hole. The concept of yours has gotten better, and that's good, but it still has a way to go before the suit becomes plausible for it's existence. If I would give a progress report based on the previous analogy, you've now got an octagon/ decagon after cutting some of the corners off the square.

Right now, the best way to get the suit to sit better with the thread would be as follows:
1) Further ret-conning of the suits abilities by further modulising the weapons.
2) Providing a logical reason as to why the suit is necessary

3) Having a re-think on your whole concept to see if it's possible to cut down on things that are "taboo" subjects within the nanohaverse. You might think it's harsh, but Kagerou/ Goose had to do this earlier on in the thread( as shown in the quotes below) All that was left of their original concept at the end of it all was the very bare bones. To their credit, they were able to salvage the good parts of it and have turned it into a storyline that while is outside of the boundaries of canon are still close enough that it is still plausible.

Yep, a month of work which was promptly torn into pieces by the team here. While I am a little sorry about that, the whole thing is much more believeable/ plausible after the extensive retcon of the whole thing.

All in all, the Erusian backstory that was worked out and is part of Alpha Canon was essentially rewritten completely after being junked. It was, in your own words, useless. It hasn't been touched on in writing, save for slight allusions here and there and twitching when the name A. J. Ivanovich comes up. This backstory history is not at the forefront of any of the writings that we're doing. It doesn't come up except here and there. And we did it anyway.

So, in three words: Suck it up. If working out the backstory is good enough for J.R.R. Tolkein, then goddamnit it's good enough for us!

This is BEFORE StrikerS, during Nanoha/Cente Gravia, when the Servants were chosen to take part in the Pilgrim Duels. As the Servants appeared, so would the battlers meet and fight for the right to have their wish granted.

Kha in the story figured out that by binding Servants to a Tome, they can reduce the number of warriors they have to fight, as each Servant and Meister they defeat only allows another Meister to summon another Servant of that class and join the duels. Sakura was already bound to the Libram of Devotion, and later he bound Illya's Servant Rider Gurren to his Libram after winning her over.

Sophia for various reasons, is one of the chief antagonists in Cente Gravia, and that's why Caster wasn't bound until very late.

As Hayate proved to be a dangerous opponent and yet one with a giant mana pool, Lancer, Archer and Berserker ganked her at once when she was with her Guardians. The outcome was pretty bloody, and that was where Vita, Signum and Tesla were practically slain, with Zafira and Shamal, both hanging back to protect Hayate, were grieviously wounded. Assassin, who had been waiting for a chance, springs out to take advantage of the defenseless girl.

This is where the Wolkies, due to their wish for protecting Hayate, would receive the gift of Light and chase Assassin off.



That is the crack that would turn 3 of the Wolkies into Servants, making each of the 3 Tomes to have 3 Servants bound to each of them. It persists in Rebuilt of StrikerS as Vita, Signum and Tesla, not only in terms of the strategem they serve but also in terms of their higher magic ranks as Servants, are part of the Forward Team while Shamal and Zafira are part of Long Arch.

With that in mind, I can change the arrangement of the Servants that attacked Hayate, thus affecting the Wolkies, but Saber is clearly out of the question...

Besides, like how Tiara could've been Caster or Saber, Signum could've been Archer or Saber, due to her specialization in swordcraft and her ability to shoot powerful magic arrows, even mount Agito as a arrow (Nighty's brilliant idea for Rebuilt! ). I'm increasing her Sturmflake variations after several new ones that I thought of last night so that this idea would make more sense.

The other CCs are still living and therefore don't qualify to be Servants.

Mind boggling crack is mind boggling.

It would depend. Sniper-boy is a trademark of you already so you would be most comfortable doing that. but if you think you can accomplish a much better result by using a different formula, then by all means do so. And just remember, always enjoy your work and do your best!

While they were talking about the observations, Bridget was simply walking towards the corner, Eika noting and suddenly following him.

"Hey..." she called out. "Hey... Hey i said!!!" she again spoke, grabbing his hand.

"What is it?"

"I'm not allowing you to get yourself killed."

"I have to do what i have to do..."

"Aren't you stupid?!!"

That question echoed along the floor, alerting the gadgets, making them advance slowly. The humans were now alerted to the incoming intrusion.

"What are you doing Eika?!!" Bridget asked, removing the hand that was holding his.

"Like what I've said, I'm not allowing to get yourself killed until you tell me your name..."

"Suit yourself... we'll settle this later." Bridget then spoke and ran towards the corridor.

"That idiot..." Eika could only comment as the rest caught up.

The gadgets now stopped as they locked on to the templar.

"Hi there..." he then greeted them, twirling his yo-yos round and round. "You seem to be a big family..."

Analyzing Target... Acquiring Signature...

"What's she-" Mike tried to ask, but was stopped by Eika.

24 other recruits to lead to safety... in 30 floors, 3000 rooms filled with gadgets, and at least 1 Number inside... (number may increase if Kha decides to add more...)

And outside, mayhem...

And you're the only non-Mid or Velkan in the entire planet (with a slight chance of beating gadgets) as of that moment!

Yeah there IS a problem here...

Nope I don't think Mahou Soldiers would go very well, even though I pretty much made troops out of the Saint Guard.

What I did think that made the frames go well with the Nanohaverse is, if there ever was a society that jumped from medieval to transdimensional without all the scientific mess in between, they would have mages in stylish and effective Prada jackets like we've seen. But at the same time I feel that there is quite a lot missing, namely the various other elements that make up a fantasy novel brought forward in time.

Where are the knights in shiny machine armor on robot battle chargers? Did the advancement of magitechnology kill every other minor creature off? Will we only get to see tiny dragons raised in captivity, and not of the giant being that carved a hole in Keroko's heart?

I felt having only 1 element and throwing the rest away... Wrong.

What I really see in the Nanohaverse is a world where magic and technology are in total equilibrium.

The replacement of plate with magical mechanics would allow the laden warrior can carry more, and yet go farther and faster than ever before. Have both the dragons of old and yet see the new dragons born of the era of magiengineering. Have the return of faeries, elves, dwarves, ents, orcs, the works, but maybe with more Trek-kinese about them different species.

Call me stubborn, but that's my world view of the Nanohaverse.

I worked along this line and created Kha, the last Cleric-knight. And he has been wearing that mechanized armor ever since, as that was his trademark.

Somehow... That kept infecting everything else like Swarm over and over.

Now that you've forced me to take a closer look, I see no need for the TSAB to have such things. They never dive straight into the thick of a firefight, have long removed the footman strategem and it was never part of their tradition anyway. Mail for them should be their maximum, and Nanoha's a good example of that done nicely.

Of the entire Saint Church, most might have assimilated the Midchilda way of thinking and opted for lighter Knight's Garbs and mail-grade Knight Armor like the Wolkies.

The Knight Sisters never wore plate armor simply because they were women, and there was no way the most of them could carry the dead-weight effectively in the past. And so even today, they are adorned in their blue standard uniforms, or colorful Precious Robes.


But the Cleric-knights, I believe, since is it in character of them to cling onto conservative beliefs and traditional mindsets, will wear the opulent frames as part of their standard Knight Armor.

In the past, when they rode on live horses into battle, they were adorned in tempered gray steel affixed with seals, metal-plated books and sculpted eagles and drenched in consecrated oils; Now they still do exactly that, but with the change of the times, battle chargers have become transforming motorbikes, blades have become Armed Devices, and plate armor have become self-propelled reinforced machine suits that allow them to keep their edge in the face of a changed world.

Vexielle gave me a design that is streamline and yet retains the look and feel of the steel-cloaked paladins of old, and so at the very least, I feel it to be weird if the Cleric-knights aren't wearing frames. I do hope this passes for computation at least.

Dressed in what could only be described as a Wild West-style outfit, he appeared as a relic of the past; even his two Devices, shaped as revolvers with a colored gem (crimson and emerald), were holstered on his hips. His face was chiseled and mature, and his gray eyes peered with an intense gaze from under his hat, which he wore at all times. Indeed, as he walked by a female officer, he tipped his hat and uttered a "Good day, ma'am," in pure Western drawl, indicating that he should be back in a time of gunslingers and cowboys.

Only the image of an eagle with spread wings, attached just over the breast pocket of his duster, gave any indication that this man was a Colonel. But everyone on this ship didn't need to see that. As two men dressed in standard Dress Blues paused to salute him, he only gave a confident smile and one back, their respect and awe at the man, the legend aboard this ship, that was Erick von Long, spoke for him.

This was the Aus'ruf, the long-range support ship of a special operations group, known as the Order of Freelance Mages. Multiple men and women, most hailing from a planet named Erusia (though many others were from Midchilda), were not only a SpecOp group, but a black SpecOp group. They had one purpose; seek out corruption and disaster, and prevent it. They were the TSAB's cure for cancer; while many SpecOp groups sought Lost Logia or apprehended criminals, the Order was strictly an assassination unit. If there was an official laundering money, trading slaves, or anything of the sort, the Order would be there to destroy that individual and erase their existence. If there was a non-administered world that was about to destroy itself, the OFM would be there to stop it, infiltrating the planet and its populace and tracking down the enemy, ending the threat before it could be carried out.

The OFM was the only group in the TSAB that had a special permit; to carry conventional mass-based weapons on missions. This only applied to missions that took place on worlds that still used such weapons; otherwise, they were kept under lock and key. Erick acquired this permit because of their mission, and only for that mission. His people, the Erusians, were destroyed by these weapons, yet at the same time they were useful; on some worlds, not carrying a weapon would be equivelant to suicide, and using magic was simply out-of-the-question. They were a Black Ops group that not even the TSAB liked to admit that they had; they were the secret forces.

Those under his employ, however, were not so secretive. Those their mission was definitely of the most classified nature, Erick encouraged the OFM to make friends; any that they could. Their network of allies was broad, and included a certain group of Aces. One of these aces, one Fate T. Harlown, even had the... "honor"... of attending an assignment with them, as per the request of the Enforcer's leadership. She had fared well on that mission, Erick recalled with a smile, and she definitely worked well with others. What was her rank again?

Erick simply shook his head as he entered the briefing room. Seated in a circle were the Order's top officers... and Erick's closest friends, one of which he even considered a son. Taking a seat, he pulled up a holographic image of the world.

"So, who c'n tell me what jus' happened?" He drawled, kicking back his chair and leaning on it with two legs; a habit he picked up from a friend of his, Aurion.

Really, the man who saved his life.

"As of 1600 hours HQ Standard Time, Enforcer First Class Keroko G. Takamachi deployed on her mission," One of the officers said; Franz Jaeger, the second-oldest person at the table and paradoxically one of the lowest ranks there. He was a man who had a penchant for rather extreme (or as he and Erick liked to call it, "hotblood") moments. While not a master mage, he was impressive in his own right, and his skill with the MA5C Assault Rifle was also spectacular. Currently, the hotblood was off. "We tracked her as ordered to this location," a spot on the holo-map lit up. "There, she engaged five Infection Forms and One Hydralisk Form... along with fifteen Human Combat Forms."

"This isn't too surprising," A second voice said; Glen Schattenman, a man who was both a Knight and a Mage; in times past, he was one of the experiments designed to found a new type of magic. Though this experiment died in favor of what became Neo-Belka, the skills he retained were still deadly. His Device, Phoenix, jingled from his necklace. "As we suspected, their next outbreak would occur here... odd, I figured the girl would have died." Glen wasn't known for being optimistic, but for being fairly blunt. "The fact she survived as long as she did is quite surprising."

"Don't make it sound like she's dead," The girl sitting next to him scolded. Emili Nailo, the only female in the room, leaned forward into the light, revealing her violet hair and bright blue eyes. Cradling slender hands in front of her face, she stared at the image. "Keroko will be just fine. We have her stabilized in the Medical Bay; her injuries are severe, alright, but otherwise..."

"No chance o' infection?" Erick asked.
"No," Emili shook her head. "There's something odd about her Linker Core - I can't quite place it - but according to Doc, it's warding off the infection. Her body is rejecting the Spawn biomass very powerfully despite her physical health. Her shoulder will be a little stiff for a while, but a few more healing treatments and a couple weeks rest will alleviate that."

"She took down a Hydralisk Form by herself," Franz said, adjusting his glasses. "That's no small feat; it's one of the highest Pure Forms in the Spawn we've encountered. We've seen the damn things take sustained AA-rank fire and shrug it off. I know Keroko's powerful, but even she has problems, it seems."

"Nevermind that," Glen cut him off, his grey eyes staring at the holographic image at it switched to a screen of the TSAB's so-called "Blue and Green Zones"; the area that they controlled in the galaxy. "Ever since their first outbreak in 0066, Spawn have been showing up at an increasing rate. It appears that whatever seals that had locked them away are finally starting to crumble," He looked at Erick, who remained silent. "Now that part of our mission is to eradicate any and all outbreaks, we've been able to lessen civilian casualties... well, not just us."

"That's righ'," Erick nodded. "Last I recall, Carter's fleet is dedicated to eliminatin' the space-bound forms, and they got Rogue Squadron helpin' us out from their own base of operations." Rogue Squadron was Keroko's creation; a group of nobodies that turned that thought on its head and became their own force. "The 82nd have had a few encounters wi' them in the Rim, too," The 82nd Rim Advance Force, aka Noble Phantasms, were a group of mages who had recently been assigned to watch over a group of planets on the Green Zone borders due to the high number of Spawn outbreaks there. "These things have been multiplyin' at an incredible rate..."

"...it's like someone is deliberately weakening the barriers..." Glen muttered. "Even the Saint Church's Cleric Knights are having a problem..."

"And then there's the Ariadne case," Emili said, partly to herself.
"We don' mention that," Erick snapped. "No one mentions Ariadne."

A brief silence fell in the room, the feeling of the air tense suddenly. "Sorry," Emili whispered.

"It's okay, Emili," Glen told her. "None of us like what happened there."
"If we had gotten there a few days sooner..."

"Then the world we were eliminatin' Spawn on woulda been offed too," Erick told her. "Ariadne was a lost cause, and th' TSAB did what it thought they had t' do." He paused. "Now look, we got to move on. XO."

"Yes, sir," Glen said, bringing up a particular section of Green Space. "This world, we believe, will have the next Spawn outbreak. Just like all the others, it's about 1.2 AUs away from the star it orbits, and the moon around the planet has a lot of mana, not to mention the planet itself."

"Anyone important there?" Erick asked. Glen nodded.
"Three of those kids from 0075," he answered. "Erio Mondial, Caro Ru Lushe, and Lutecia Alphino live on the planet, and recently the 43rd Air Battalion has been stationed there for training purposes." He brought up the planet itself. "We'll be en route by the end of the day. We contacted the unit Keroko was with and let them know that we'll be taking her. We flagged it under Code OMICRON, which shut them up pretty quickly."

"Righ, so we'll be leavin' to fight more o' them." Erick paused. "What about... that other thing?"
"None so far," Franz said; a PDA in his hand revealed that he had been researching what Erick was about to ask. "Not since the one last month. None of the Candidates have unlocked the System. As for the stabilization of our own, he remains at eighty-five percent."

"Very good," Erick nodded. "Righ', everyone get ready. We're goin' monster huntin' real soon. Dismissed."

The three he addressed stood up and proceeded to exit the small room. As they left, Franz mentioned something about needing to check on something and disappeared, leaving Emili and Glen to walk together down the ship corridors.

"So... eighty-five, huh?" Emili asked.
"Yep," Glen said, nodding. "Everything seems okay at this angle. Nothing odd is acting up." Leaning over, Emili wrapped her arms around one of Glen's as they walked.

"Glen..." she said. "These past few years have been odd... what do you think will happen?"
"It'll all be alright, Em," Glen assured her.

"You always say that," Emili chided. "...baka." Glen just nodded as the two walked.

Must you lie to her? A voice in his head asked.
I'm not lying. To date, I've not lost any control. Glen said to the voice.
Soon, though, you will. The voice warned. And I can only contain it for so long before I, too, lose control.

@Thread: About the whole armor discussion:

I don't know the whole thing and I won't comment on Power Armor, but, it actually is true that Belka Knights use armors. Remember episode 6-7 of A's? Signum and Shamal were asking Hayate to imagine their armors because they needed their master to have a picture of it in mind so that they would create it. Hayate, however, asked if Knight-like clothes would be fine to which they both responded it would be ok.

Just adding a little something to the discussion.

And btw: I'm gonna need to have someone point me out to the most important and "OC-common-knowledge" things that I've missed while on my long break

No it's not series-typical, and I don't want to see mages replaced by mecha any more than anyone, but I think if kept strictly within the series' defined magitech, some form of powered personal armor would be possible. I came up with a magic-based powered Jacket idea myself some time ago(you guys might have just given me a pass cause it wasn't a big thing, though.)

I do agree that there doesn't need to be conventional powered armor.

Don't start that bull argument with me Goose. I've scaled the abilities back already like asked. I've got the project work slated for the big-assed-essay which I'm going to take time on. (Not hammer together in three hours. Which incidently, my use of only FOUR hours was called SLAPPED together.) I scrapped my biggest controversial idea... I'm doing my work.

Nobody had a beef with the fact that I keep REPEATEDLY mentioning it as powered armor, as an exoskeleton, as something weighing a whole lot with lots of metal. I even posted THIS image early on with nobody showing any real concern. Nobody... Not until I put up a vid that shows it looks like an armored football player robot. Up until this it was concerns about power levels when I was still sketchy on them and working on them.

Cannon arguments may be worth taking into account. But this time it's just Keroko having a beef with my choice of Aesthetics. A beef about it turning into massive numbers of mecha when I have already stated that the model is prototype. As in, one of a kind.

We did complain, repeatedly, but I don't think you even listened. Personally I gave up trying to convince you to tone down the haxx.

You act as if shooting down your ideas is like a major insult to you, you cannot accept it when we give you negative feedback, you complain when we suggest what to do to make it acceptable.

Let me quote you a phrase: "If one guy calls you a Hutt, ignore him. If a second guy calls you a Hutt, begin to wonder. If a third guy calls you a Hutt, buy a drool bucket and start stockpiling spice."

In case you don't understand, what I'm trying to say is that many of us have mentioned what's wrong with your characters, ideas and concepts. Its not just one person but multiple. Please at least consider taking a few minutes and really take a good look at your ideas. Forget that its your idea in the first place, forget that you worked hard on it. Set honesty to ON and ask yourself this, is what I've written really true to the spirit of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha? Is there any truth to what others have said? Are my characters and ideas way overboard? Etc, etc etc...

If after that you still think you're didn't do anything wrong and that we're way too critical to you and yours, then perhaps...

What I meant was that the TSAB shows no sign whatsoever that they are using power armor, making it an alien element into the Nanohaverse. Okay, before I hit The books again, so to speak. I need some data.


This concerns Regius. As the honcho in charge of ground forces... he was under the control of the brains. The brains had him covering up Jail's actions even though he was criminal and dangerous.

How feasible would it be that Regius, knowing and hating Jail, would order small scale projects with the purpose of countering Jail's threat?
I know he was openly denying funding for equiping the ground forces against the gadget drones. Probably on orders.

But as much as we can tell he really HATES Jail (especially because Jails Numba's killed his friend ZEST.), would it not be expected for someone of his rank to have something on the low down to pull out of his back pocket come Jail making a move? Knowing Jail is up to something.

The reason I put this out is because one way to wrap these little projects (Lawmaker and Crash's armor.) Together is that Regius had already figured Jail for a wild card, if not by the time Zest got killed, at least from then onwards. And needed his own pawns prepared, but they needed to seem trivial, under the radar of the floating brains and Jail.

Unfortunately, his projects would come too late since Jail made his move very quickly once he found what he wanted.
Now, I know he had something in the works... Einherjar... but I haven't the freakin foggiest clue what it is... (Seems to be mentioned as a trump card, but seems to be destroyed before its even revealed.) so I'm off to look around.

Signum's hair was undone, the ribbon normally holding it in place gone, leaving her flowing pink hair to cascade down over the sides of her shoulders and onto the floor, over her sitting position on top of her prone sparring partner.

Erio meanwhile struggled for air as he found himself pinned by Signum in two places. While Signum did appear younger, her assets were still respectable and still managed to suffocate Erio under them. Though this was nothing as Erio managed to push his face out of them and the pink hair surrounding his head to a much more embarrassing situation.

Signum was sitting onto of his waist while he had lied flat down on the floor with his arms around her waist.

Turning to face the visitors, their response was expected. Well not quite.

"Ah Hayate. And Testarossa. What brings you two here?"

"Ohh! Hayate-san! Fate-san too! This is a mistake! I-!"

"Isn't this too much for relaxing Hayate-chan?!"

Fate was beside herself while Hayate poured lots of oil onto the fire.

"He came under my tutelage for this session first and I will not relinquish this claim. Even to you Testarossa. What he desires to learn, I shall be the one to teach first."

"WHAAAAAT?!"

"Mou, Signum. Erio is mine to begin with in the first place."

"That does not matter. I shall be the one to teach him anyway."

Erio looked towards his final hope of salvation.

"Looks like everyone's going to have fun with this. I still have some reports to wrap up so I'll have to leave first. Be sure to submit a report about what you learnt later alright Erio-kun? Ja-ne!" Hayate winked as she went out the door.

Which turns out he had none in the first place, leaving him to fend for himself.

"Erio." Signum's younger face was sorely testing his defenses.

Kha in the story figured out that by binding Servants to a Tome, they can reduce the number of warriors they have to fight, as each Servant and Meister they defeat only allows another Meister to summon another Servant of that class and join the duels. Sakura was already bound to the Libram of Devotion, and later he bound Illya's Servant Rider Gurren to his Libram after winning her over.

Sophia for various reasons, is one of the chief antagonists in Cente Gravia, and that's why Caster wasn't bound until very late.

As Hayate proved to be a dangerous opponent and yet one with a giant mana pool, Lancer, Archer and Berserker ganked her at once when she was with her Guardians. The outcome was pretty bloody, and that was where Vita, Signum and Tesla were practically slain, with Zafira and Shamal, both hanging back to protect Hayate, were grieviously wounded. Assassin, who had been waiting for a chance, springs out to take advantage of the defenseless girl.

This is where the Wolkies, due to their wish for protecting Hayate, would receive the gift of Light and chase Assassin off.



That is the crack that would turn 3 of the Wolkies into Servants, making each of the 3 Tomes to have 3 Servants bound to each of them. It persists in Rebuilt of StrikerS as Vita, Signum and Tesla, not only in terms of the strategem they serve but also in terms of their higher magic ranks as Servants, are part of the Forward Team while Shamal and Zafira are part of Long Arch.

With that in mind, I can change the arrangement of the Servants that attacked Hayate, thus affecting the Wolkies, but Saber is clearly out of the question...

Besides, like how Tiara could've been Caster or Saber, Signum could've been Archer or Saber, due to her specialization in swordcraft and her ability to shoot powerful magic arrows, even mount Agito as a arrow (Nighty's brilliant idea for Rebuilt! ). I'm increasing her Sturmflake variations after several new ones that I thought of last night so that this idea would make more sense.

The other CCs are still living and therefore don't qualify to be Servants.

And with more crack involved, we can even say that Signum can be Archer because of how much Signum parallels Emiya Shiro; both were good with swords, but their ultimate attacks were bows; and most importantly because of this:

Signum was sitting onto of his waist while he had lied flat down on the floor with his arms around her waist.

Turning to face the visitors, their response was expected. Well not quite.

"Ah Hayate. And Testarossa. What brings you two here?"

"Ohh! Hayate-san! Fate-san too! This is a mistake! I-!"

"Isn't this too much for relaxing Hayate-chan?!"

Fate was beside herself while Hayate poured lots of oil onto the fire.

"Well Erio-kun is a boy and he is going to be at that age soon but I didn't expect Signum to reciprocate in kind that daringly.."

"Say no more Erio. I understand your situation perfectly."

"What? No! This isn't what it looks like! I just thought Signum-san would be a better person to practice with since you're always so busy..!"

"I had expected you to come find me for this kind of things Erio. Does this mean you do not trust me? Truly I'm disappointed."

"I'm sorry! I'll accept any punishment you'll mete out. Just forgive me please!"

"Well that would depend entirely on you whether I'll forgive you.."

"I'll do my best so please!"

"You'll do well with this kind of spirit." Fate said her hands went to Erio's chest and placed her face close to his, very very close. Fate's eyes were expanding Erio from within, and not mentioning the effect her breath was having on him as well.

A jolt came to Erio's mind as Fate's hand went lower. Much more lower.

"Huh?! What's this about Fate-san?"

"You wanted to learn about women and so I'm going to teach you.."

"Wait wait wait! That wasn't I meant! I-!"

"This will not do." Signum was a face of serious business as she cut in.

"And why is that?" Fate stopped mid-way though cuddling Erio.

For a moment, Erio thought he found his salvation. Well it depends, with what Signum had to say next.

"He came under my tutelage for this session first and I will not relinquish this claim. Even to you Testarossa. What he desires to learn, I shall be the one to teach first."

"WHAAAAAT?!"

"Mou, Signum. Erio is mine to begin with in the first place."

"That does not matter. I shall be the one to teach him anyway."

Erio looked towards his final hope of salvation.

"Looks like everyone's going to have fun with this. I still have some reports to wrap up so I'll have to leave first. Be sure to submit a report about what you learnt later alright Erio-kun? Ja-ne!" Hayate winked as she went out the door.

Which turns out he had none in the first place, leaving him to fend for himself.

"Erio." Signum's younger face was sorely testing his defenses.

"Erio.." Fate's face was inching ever closer to his..

"TASUKETE! AHHHHHHHHH!"

Erio found his face, thankfully, to be neither in contact with Signum's nor Fate's but the cool hard surface of his room.

Realizing he had rolled out of bed, Erio heaved a great sigh. He had managed to solve the highly embarrassing situation earlier today but what was with the dream he just had?

Shaking his head and crawling back to bed, Erio swore he would stay off any more 'picture books' Chrono or Vice had to offer in the future.

Okay what the hell did I just write?
