Once the flashback started, I just skipped ahead to the OP and ED. The OP has a kinda classic pop-rock sound like something you'd hear on the soundtrack to the Wonder Years. The ED's nice but a little too adult-contemporary for my taste.

I didn't expect to see a new OP and ED so soon. It doesn't feel like it's been that long since they last changed. OP still hasn't as good as Feel so moon.

Has there been any word on how long the anime is going to continue? Some of the people I know who watched it ended up dropping it because of the slow pacing, but I personally enjoy it. Two weeks of recap kinda sucks though.

More blast-from-the-past moments.
This was a summary of the story so far episode.
It was nice to remember how it all started.
I just hope they won't overdo it will fillers.
The plot has been a bit slow lately.

Between a timeslot change and two recap episodes in a row, they're certainly planning to keep it airing for a good while.

I thought the OP animation was nice, but whoever thinks the performer can sing must have a tin ear.

I'm looking forward to watching Serika fly a jet fighter.

As for the series length, it's hard to see it being less than another year. I could see them devoting much of that time to Mutta's training at NASA. I'm not sure the timing works out right for him to join Hibito on the moon at the end of this season. I would imagine the next phase of training is probably considerably longer than the qualification testing. Indeed Hibito might return before Mutta ever flies into space. If I recall correctly, the moon mission was scheduled to last a year or at most two.

As expected, this week's episode was another recap. The bad news is... the next one is also a recap!! Three recap episodes in a row! First time I've seen that.

Only a couple minutes of new content this week, but it was pretty funny. Buddy is da man.

I noticed that not many people are watching this. Seems a lot of them quit after first half of the anime. Honestly I'm thinking of dropping it too since the plot slowed down significantly. Looks like they are deliberately prolonging this anime until the big finish. It would be better if they finished it sooner rather than putting in fillers and dropping the quality.

When One Piece changed its timeslot in 2006, there were 5 recap episodes in a row, introducing all the main characters to new audiences.
Hokuto no Ken also did it in the 80's, but i'm not sure if for the same reason.

At least, i'm assuming this is a sign that there are plans to adapt the manga until it ends, especially considering the great timeslot it just got.
Btw, i was expecting the photo thing to be removed, since that was more appropriated to the Sunday morning timeslot.

Kind of strange to talk about people dropping the anime during the time recaps are airing. Of course less people are talking about it this week.

Also the Japanese space station crew member is back on Earth now. The next one goes up in November, and will actually take over command of the station next year.

I understand why they wanted to do this with the new timeslot, and it gives the animators some time off, but I really wish they'd made it into a compilation movie and aired it as a special.
