OMG!! From what I can see of the text in the last pic, it looks like after all these years they FINALLY DID IT!! After Rakudai and Madan, Zero no Tsukaima is the latest and looks like Shinmai too, I wonder which LN series is next?

Well, from reading the page you posted....

He was about to go all the way but stopped because of the promise he made with Eleonore in which they cant do it till they get married. Though it did say that they were cuddling each other inside the bed.

Unless the next page makes him change his mind lol.

So we will have to wait for spoilers or raw to confirm. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up doing it after all.

I'm more curious to who wrote volume 21 on behalf of Noboru.
And volume 22 (the next volume) confirmed to be the final volume as initially planned by Noboru.

Nobody?
The script was already done by Noboru and handed over to the editorial, it was unfortunate he passed away which messed up with the publication.

Sees kiss scene, instantly leans towards they did it. I guess all future near novel end kiss scenes I should just assume sex lol.

Someone posted on 4chan all the text after the page with that kiss pic. It turns out they didn't end up doing it from what I can tell. It's a shame but then I realized the scene was made 5 years ago which characters having sex were still rare compared to recent.

The volume ends with this pic:

Not sure what happens here, I hope someone who can read the text posted on 4chan tell us.

You'd be gawking too if you were shown the way home that you've been looking for for however long it's been the novel world.

Not that I'm saying I know that's what's happening in that scene, but there aren't many other things it could be given the context of the story and how they're reacting to it; to me it looks like the priest guy just opened a way for Saito to go home.

We'll never know. Kadokawa said "If we reveal the name of the new writer, that will cause preconceptions among the readers. We want them to purely enjoy the story." It is also mentioned that the new writer was chosen by Yamaguchi himself.

No need to reveal who the writer is. It'll only cause unnecessary issues. As if the substitute actually changed the author's plans (which is very unlikely).

Preconceptions? So it's someone with bad name? Yomi Hirasaka (Haganai)? Tsukasa Fushimi (Orenimo)? If so... I understand why they don't want to tell people who is writing this

Not like it actually maters if new writers will just write/keep close to what Yamaguchi left to him.

Read the afterword posted on 4chan.
Looking at the afterword we will might find out who that person is when v22 (final volume) comes out. What we know is there that person was chosen among the existing authors so that was good to hear. Much better than some random guy who hasnt published and written a story before.

Though I almost cried when I read the afterword. Noboru was having a discussion of future of ZnT after he released the final volume. He had so much ideas. They were planning for a sequel after it as well. He was planning a lot for his series so its a shame that he had to pass away...
