Well, here is my guess to the development. Krillin comes. Moro kills Krillin just to take one more person down with him (senzu bean won't help anyway...goku is too strong). Whis says something like since he is killed by a demon (does Moro count as one?), he can't be revived. Knowing this, and super mad at himself for being a moron for the 12345th times, Goku lets the emotion get the better of him and loses UI.

But Vegeta sneaks in, splits Moro and finishes him. Next arc...finds a way to revive Krillin XD

Yeah, I also think he's going to do something stupid. Either way, it seems like he doesn't want to kill Moro. Goku being Goku.

Given Toyatoro's tendency to recycle previous Dragon Ball stuff, I could see Moro recovering the arm Merus cut (which still has the crystal) and copying Goku's UI. Similar to how Boo absorbed Gohan.

I could see that, and then he'll get the backlash that Goku got in the ToP and Jaco or Vegeta or someone will kill him.

Either way, as expected, UI has completely drained the joy from the series continuing.

That's even worse than what I thought would happen.

It was obvious Goku was going to spare, but giving him a senzu is going way too far. And it makes Merus' sacrifice meaningless too if Moro gets his crystals back.

Honestly, this guy cares more about getting a good fight than he does about saving the freaking universe. And after all the times it came back to bite him in the ass, he still hasn't learned anything.

So if this is just like Cell, do you guys figure it'll end the same way as well? Goku dying along with Moro?

Moro is pretty dumb too. Goku completely wiped the floor with him, yet he tries to attack him immediately after being healed. Frieza at least had the sense to attack him from behind after Goku give him some energy on Namek, Moro goes for a frontal attack. Not that it would have changed anything since Goku auto dodges.

It's not really on purpose. It's just a side effect of his love of battle. He just cares more about fighting than saving the universe.

Reading the summary of the interview with the editor, I get what the problem with this manga is. When asked what their respective power levels are during the creation process, the editor responded his was -100, Toyotaro was 10 million and Toriyama 100 million. He also added Toriyama and Toyotaro are perfectly in sync and always think of the other's ideas as brilliant. So you have Toyotaro and the editor who worship Toriyama so much they'd never dare criticize his ideas, and Toriyama who really likes Toyotaro and sometimes lets him do what he wants. In the end, you're left with no one trying to improve on the original ideas.

Having a good editor is very important. The editor should be replaced by someone else, but I'm not sure there are any left who would dare go up against Toriyama.

He did get necked for a split second, then Meerus cut of Moro's hand..now it becomes another reference to the majin buu's arc...man this arc is full of reference, and frankly I don't really like it

Goku needs to realize it's best to just kill Moro. If he can combine SSJ with Ultra Instinct, he should do it. He might need the power-up.
