I've tried using mtl on early arifureta's chapters. Well... The result are devastating for my brain... Since I can't afford to lose braincells anymore so I stop using it and depend on any kind soul who willing to do so... Like borisdrakoni or El rue

It never said outright if I recall, just establishing itself as something Yue should see. It probably exposes Deinrid's true feelings and reasons for doing what he did, finally giving her some closure. I imagine it will be mentioned in Saturday's epilogue since everything is being wrapped up.

Here's a recent interview with the author: http://lnocomi.com/news/view/562/
These are some interesting bits and pieces from it: He first started Arifureta as a way to relieve stress. The character he's most attached to is Kaori because she has the strongest character despite going from a normal heroine to a pitiable assaulting girl at some point, though he can't really choose a favorite among the heroines. He considers useless heroines to be moe, especially in scenes where they have a triumphant look on their faces after accomplishing something unusual. He compares the difficulty of Orcus to challenging Tales of Phantasia's Moria mine at level 1. Even if Kouki and the hero party had reached level 100 in the upper Orcus labyrinth, they would not have been able to advance past the upper levels of the true labyrinth without Age of Gods magic. Games the author enjoys: Metal Gear and To Heart 2 Dungeon Travelers. His favorite series is the Tales series. In fact, the Tales series had a lot of influence on the nature of the work and the images of the dungeons. |
