Isn't that Tohma called Zero Driver? And what their real goal to get the perfected reaction that mean?

Veyron and Fortis both called Touma a Zero Driver. As for why they're looking to acquire a Zero Driver... *shrugs*

Execution style killings, our Veyron? Surely not, he's as pure as the driven snow, right?

Anyway, since Veyron doesn't have a Plug, he'll be using this Strosek then?

If this chick is his Lily, that's pretty convenient timing considering Touma seems to have at least stabilized his unison.

Like I said, Veyron and Arnage saved a village from those two guys and killed them for it. My guess is because those two were breaking family rules by attacking the village for no good reason.

That would certainly make sense as those rules, which nay sayers like to ignore, have been established already.

Veyron and Arnage both. It's played for laughs.

It played for laughs, as well as played for drama.

I was under the impression these rules only affect, you know, the Huckebein. Enforcing them on other Eclipse Infectees with death seems extremely arbitrary - even if you don't like how they go about it, they're still basically doing the same thing you are. I mean if somebody paid them money, they would have destroyed that village too, right?

Didn't someone's head get pulped in this same chapter? What the hell.

As it stands, the Huckebein are the prime suspects in most, if not all, Eclipse-related incidents. And the Huckebein were given a bit of a nasty wake-up call by Section Six. They probably have to rethink their strategy and actions, and they can't have other infectees going around making things worse for them.

Because they would kill anyone who hinder their ambition to get what they want indiscriminately. Both human, animal, even the other EC Drivers.

In which case it would be business rather than just plain cruelty.

One of the most jarring mood whiplash I've ever seen. That's supposed to be funny? The artist has a twisted sense of humor (or maybe just too lazy for details, as was the case with the lack of detail in many previous scenes)

I seriously hope this is not an attempt by the writers at gathering positive interest in them, because if it does, then it backfired. Horribly.

"I didn't kill you because I felt like it. I killed you because I felt like having money."

And holy fuck. Is that the page immediately after?

Exactly, these guys aren't Hucks, they can't go around killing people for that. But then again, these are the Hucks, not like it makes a difference to them either way. I suppose they didn't invite him into the family because he's too weak, right?

That's played for seriousness. Just look at the Veyron and Arnage's face. Because the questioning too many doings, so they were shooting at him. Not to mention if he was still shut up or after providing information, which interrogated fought back and eventually killed the interrogated itself.

I don't think it would make things worse. The Hucks would get blamed for the whole thing probably and sad to say, I doubt the destruction of yet another village by the Hucks would change the stance of the TSAB towards them that much.

I think its funny. It kinda reminds me about the Indiana Jones "guns VS swords" scene. Death played for laughs.

Also shows how casual the Hucks are about killing. No super moral "only when absolutely necessary" stuff. Just "you said/did something we don't like. *bang*"

Moral hypocrisy, ho!

No, but it still was Indy shooting someone. And we laughed when it happened. Death can be comedic in fiction, it's not a strange thing unique to parodies.
