Thanks for looking...but no, that's not what I remember... (And those are from The 2nd Visual Collection, right?)

I figured it'd be something close to the Sheryl in this image, though I think this one came out in 2012 or thereabouts... Something that makes her seem somewhat fragile, somewhat vulnerable.

Or perhaps I'm just imagining that I saw it or something...the way Ebata and Kawamori talk about it in one of their interviews suggests that it's an picture that might have appeared in a magazine or book, but I could be mistaken about it.

I have just about every artbook for Frontier, unfortunately, no picture you described among them.

I've always liked this Sheryl art and it seems to fit the description. Only problem is I am not sure if it is by Ebata or fan art.

I do have a legit reason for trying to find it, you know.

The image exists, definitely. The only question is whether they allowed it to be printed anywhere, and I don't even know how I can verify whether it was or not. Thanks for checking, though...

*sighs* I've checked all my own books, as well as all the images that I've yet to sort out on my harddrive...only thing left is all the magazines I collected that I don't have on hand, but if it's not in any of the books... I guess I'll have to make do without it...

Though I'm pretty sure it isn't this, since it's a pretty well known image. It does have a Ranka counterpart that has her hugging her knees. If it's a sketch you are looking for it might be in one of the booklets with the Frontier BluRay boxes, I know one of my friends on tumblr (shameless-otaku) uploaded a lot of concept art to his blog, and I have the movies box with a lot of art I've never seen before.
Other than this I'm at a loss, I have a pretty big folder, well, 3 on 3 different PC's (had to switch in-between) dating back to 2007.
If you do come across it, please post it. :3

Yeah, I just realized I might have created a display piece. Hell, even the gun is new, never used. Nonetheless, I made sure my middle finger will always conveniently rest upon our hopes and dreams whenever I grab it
