He is somewhat. Since he was managing Sgt.Anderson and he failed to guide him to a win over young Kamogawa after WWII. But he's a sport, about it.

Woli is a the great fodder that has all the arsenal that Ippo already fought, these chapters with Woli is just a big preparation for his fight to the world stage.

WHAT THE HELL?!!! The new chapter 872...Man I feel this is an unrealistic fight when I saw the raws. Using the ropes to dodge a punch and to get up is legal in boxing, but jumping...WTF... O_o

You'll be surprised how Woli uses thr ropes. Man I don't wanna hate a guy that's really not a bad guy. But his antics in the ring is getting annoying.

OK the trick was easily predictable as i read into the chapter. What im confused about is why couldn't ippo understand how his trick worked. It was obvious he couldn't be flying for Pete's sakes. Would it be too much to ask to come to a logical conclusion? I guess ippo hasn't matured that much after all.
