This was an interesting episode for Akira's development. Also, I think that acorn like object that Akira summoned and the voice inside it maybe like the lover of Nesta from 12000 years ago.
I do wonder if Maia and Nesta are some sort of split souls. |

Well whatever that thing is considers somebody name Kiryu as a traitor. Subete could be the reincarnation of this Kiryu guy.
This Forbidden Vector is an ancient Vector like the original Aquarion. The Ancient Aquarion here is known as Aquarion Logos. The ones DEAVA built are based on ancient blueprints. Whether there is another set is the question. Also whether Maia and Subete's Vector are modern or ancient built. But given what Subete said the Aquarion Logos Vectors are missing. My guess Nesta and Maia are soul splits along the lines of Toma and Mykage. |

The story does seems to mirror original aquarion. There is even a traitor like Appollonius was for the angels and Scorpius for the humans. I am going to guess the acorn object guy who speaks is more the Appollonius of this show though. The triangle this time seems more like there is more deception going on. Probably trapped the voice in the acorn likely done by Kiryuu and Nesta together.
Though it would be interesting if the reason for trapping the voice in the acorn and calling the new aquarion vector the destroyer of the legend, is the same reason Akira went bonkers this episode. He made everyone his enemy and attacked everyone when he lost his purpose and nothing to save. |
