The mechanic animation looks great, they move in the End of Evangelion human-like style rather than in the TV series faster but weightless motion. The characters look and move pretty much the same but with cleaner lines in the shown shots... but that has never been an staple of the saga. Scene composition is also top-notch... I'm really excited for this right now.

Characters look fresher and sharper looking to me. The version on Fly Me To The Moon is very nice, now I can't wait for this.

Looks fantastic, I liked the scene where birds fly in front of an Angel... was that Ramiel...

I meant the character animation, the movement itself doesn't looks that ahead of the TV version. Sharper for sure, but not really more nuanced or anything.

I was hoping that was another trailer since the first video released on the 9th. But actually seeing it clearly compared to the recording of the other Youtube video is just as good

And I hadn't seen the first 5 or so seconds because the first video missed it out.

I seriously can't wait for this to come out.

The visuals and colours look much sharper and vivid than before, but that's to be expected after 12 years. The way the progressive knife snaps out looks nice as well.

Anyone know what this is? It doesn't look like an angel, eva (too "human") or a person. Unless it's like, Adam? Or maybe I'm just seeing a face from nothing, I dunno :S

The movement really isn't much different that's true, it seems the Eva's and angels where the ones that really were redefined.

She didn't even show up in the anime until the eighth episode...
I'm of the Asuka > Rei camp, too, but it's not a tragedy if she isn't in the first movie.

finally the Evangelion series is getting a proper ending.

I believe it's 3 movies covering an alternate retelling of the original story and 1 alternate ending. Or something like that. No prequel.

Oh God, I so hope that more RnB´ish version of Frank Sinatra´s classic song is going to be the new ED.

Very nice trailer and while I also agree that Evangelion wouldn´t be itself without Asuka. It wouldn´t be a disaster for her to show up first in the end of the first movie or in the second considering that she wasn´t with us from the start in the original series.

Finally new eva. anyone know if NERV is going to go through with is plans on cross breeding human and angel DNA in this version?
