Lol that t-shirt is kinda nice but... I could never wear that in front of anyone .. It would only strengthen the stereotypes that anime = sick/porn or whatever.

Anyone here reading the novels? If there are, at what point is the anime at when compared to novels? Is 2nd season likely?

The anime is currently at volume 4, but they already did volume 5 in a single episode in ep9.

A second season is rather unlikely for a while, since there are only 7 volumes right now.

Hmmm... Okay, let's see.

1. RKB Team needs a legitimate Power Forward who can support Airi down low. Or another Center so that Airi will have to play PF instead. That way, Subaru can get around Airi's height complex since she doesn't have to play the Big Man Center.
2. They could use a back-up Point Guard so that Tomoka won't have to do everything by herself. It would really help if the back-up PG doesn't go by the name of Libby Jerkass.
3. Better yet, the PF and PG can be combined into a Dynamic Duo of THAT Stockton-to-Malone fame.
4. Of course, the less experienced members of the core group (Hinata, Saki, and Airi) should form playing styles of their own and improve them. Personally, I want Hina to be defensive-oriented (a la Gary Payton or something), while Saki goes All-Around Small Forward.
5. It would really help the team if Airi overcomes her height complex and comes to realize that size is an asset in basketball that not many people can offer to ball clubs.

too bad that we're lacking Subaru X Aoi scenes.... although I don't mind Subaru X Tomoka scenes (gazing star under night sky is so romantic).. lol

why Maho needs to run away??? Hurry up! I want to see another basketball!!!!

^Maho is by all means still a kid. She's energetic and generally cheerful and competitive, but she can't handle negative emotions all too well. So, when the truth came out that Subaru was keeping things from her, she didn't know how to handle it, and didn't want others to see her cry, thus she ran away.

I'm guessing either Subaru, though preferably Aoi, will make her understand why he was dishonest with her.

And the other girls' team coach is a bitch. She probably has her reasons, but for now, I don't like her. And her younger sister seems to have picked up on Aoi liking Subaru, as well as his lolicon status.

Ah, fun ep actually. I find it funny that one of the main topics is... Maho running away. Really now, that's childlike behaviour, like others have stated, and it's not surprising given her enthusiasim for b-ball, not to mention this be the 2nd time Subaru withheld rather important information. So I say we blame the lolicon coach first before we point out a girl who got insulted for her desire to play ball.

Ahem, and I detected a ponytail that wasn't blue and tsundere. Looks like that blonde ponytail foreigner needs a new coach, as I'm sure there's a lot of things I can teach her

In just one episode Saki proving she is the coolest girl in this series. Also, Subaru sure knows how to pick his words making any loli blush

There has been a lack of Tomoka for a while now and...

this does not look good for a Tomoka end

I hope they wrap this match fast next week and have some Tomoka development towards for a somewhat proper ending.
I will also be desperately waiting like mangatron for a second season titled "Ore no basketball no harem ga Konna ni Ooki Wake ga Nai"

Funny how Subaru's memories of Aoi in the sauna were uncensored. Does he possess the fabled mystic eyes that enables one to see through steam and lightbeams? I sure would love to have that ability.

I really enjoyed the role Saki played in this episode. She's captain material.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for 69 Club 11 - free: Even though Tomoka is ostensibly the show's "main" girl, being the basketball prodigy and all, I can't help but notice a recurring theme in these game arcs. Since only one member of the team is really fleshed out, that member, twice thus far, has always been a foil not to Tomoka, but to Maho. Interesting. Not to say Tomoka doesn't play a role, though. Maho imitating her jump-'n'-shoot style may be the thing that shows Miyu what these girls can do. As for the rest of the episode, I was surprised to see Hinata being the one to be the diplomat between the teams. And Saki was the first one at Maho's side after she ran away. Airi didn't do all that much, but she just had an entire mini-arc to herself recently. The parts of the episode I'm sure people will be talking about are between Subaru and Aoi. One is a touching scene outside where they reconfirm what basketball means to them. The other is a scene with a lot of touching, a steamy scene orchestrated by Manaka. Something for everyone this week.

Saki is overwhelming and Subaru's tactics are working well so far... Maho learns Tomoka's speciality and hopefully they don't get any problem with stamina two thumbs up for Subaru X Aoi scene in this episode... a warming heart scene when they're talking about basketball's passion (and it's obviously there's 'something' between them) To be honest, if I get 'that' bump from Aoi, I'll reach heaven in no time... Subaru is lucky bastard!!! suffering terrible nosebleed atm waiting for Saintess and Tron's reaction in sauna's scene... maybe they're already in hospital because of terrible blood loss
