The purpose of this thread is to provide a place to discuss all things Tatenashi related.

To keep the discussion enjoyable for all Infinite Stratos fans, please follow the guidelines below and stay on-topic!

Note: Please don't use this for the specifics (i.e. episode, chapter, game, etc. discussion) there are other threads for that stuff.

At best, her power is equal to Madoka.

Beside, Chifuyu is too balance, while Tatenashi is kind of too voptulous - but better than Cecilia.

Who knows (I still haven't read all the Light Novels DX). Those two are pretty much the best.

Well, she's the one that doesn't go yandere and she's the one putting the move on Ichika while having a small dere that is pretty cute. But, like Shizuku from Kampfer, I think her moves would eventually bring her downfall if she ever grows to love Ichika deeply.

In terms of character design, Tatenashi is so OP!!!!!!! I have no idea how should I describe this into words!!!!!!!

PS: I thin Tatenashi could either be a Japanese-descended Russian or a Japanese residing in Russia.

As to why is the Russian representative

The only half-assed real life explanation I can come up with is that Tatenashi's ancestors resided on the territories that came under Russian control after WWII (Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands) so she is part Russian so her family has some business/familial ties in Russia.

But then the question is choosing Russia over Japan if she has heritage to both.

Personally, she is too much Rei Ayanami in looks for me to like, i.e. too pale. I know paler skin is desirable in Asian cultures (I am 100% Asian) but there's a limit.

Actually, it was mentioned off-hand that Rep Cadets can CHOOSE their nationality with the snap of a finger. Regardless of her birth nationality she's likely a Russian citizen given that she's the Russian rep. In either case she can probably pass for having Russian blood given that she doesn't look like a full-blood Japanese.

While Chifuyu k.o an American IS with just common steel katanas - well, she tricked her enemy into Maya's custom Revive with 4 giant glatling cannons. At best, her power is equal to Madoka.
