What methods you use to sleep?
Yeah I'm serious.
I really wanna know what actually makes you able to get really sleepy and tired that you can sleep. Cause xD reason I asked is because its been like 4 nights in a row I only get 3 hours of sleep when I've been fixing an early time for slumber. But nooooooooooooooooo I have to think so much, day dream so much, reminiscing on so much memories (good and bad) and when I do get depressed from thinking, I really won't be able to sleep. So what I really do is just... listen to my mp3 player and listen to whole 100 tracks and then when I feel really drowsy, I sleep. Or even just stay up at the comp x__x and stare at it until I get sleepy. x__x so yeah. What about you? |

I think I know where the OP is coming from. Personally I can't go to sleep by...intentionally trying to go to sleep. I usually put on the radio or a podcast, and eventually fall asleep listening to it.

ya usually just some music nothing to heavy, try to be as active as possible during the day, might even try doing some exercises like push-ups, sit-ups, running in place. Thats usually what I do. Also I dont necessarily suggest it can lead to worse problems and if ur old enough, just try drinking a beer or a glass of wine nothing crazy like drinking a case of beer or bottle or anything.

When I was younger, I really struggled to sleep sometimes. Eventually, I just gave up and stayed up later and tried to be productive with the extra time. Exhaustion would eventually catch up and then sleeping was easier. Keeping a good schedule really helps too I think, as well as eating properly and exercise.

Usually listening to barely audible music tends to get me tired. Similarily, playing a console game with the volume right down has the same effect. Unsure if others experience this.
Perhaps it isn't exactly good to eat before bed but I find falling asleep easier when I'm not hungry.

If doing a work out before going to bed is not your thing, you could always grab a book of something you hate or something you find extremely boring. Go to bed, and think you need to read all of it as a part of your homework.

Listen to mp3 or take a hot bath, if that doesent work i don't know, sleeping pills? but drugs arent good to take or you get addicted and you won't be able to sleep without them, If you drinking tea or coffee a few hours before bed stop it, because that's what makes you not be able to sleep...
Btw allways know that coffee doesen't make you sleep it does the opposite, you won't be able to sleep.... |
