Wow Summer Wars looks exactly like the Digimon Movie Our War Game.

Do they share the same director or something? His style is immediately visible (beautiful too).

Yuji Iwahara's Sci-fi series Ibara no Ou anime film adaption announced today in Kadokawa Pictures' website.

Director/Script: Takayama Kazuyoshi
Character Design: Matsubara Hidenori (Ah My Goddess's)
Monster Design: Andou Kenji (Karas's)
Production: Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion) (I misread, sorry.)

Scheduled for 2010.

But Khara is doing production or animation production? This would be the first work outside of Eva from Khara and it's a bit strange that is scheduled for 2010, the same year of Eva rebuild 3.0 (assuming it doesn't get delayed as 2.0).

Oops, looks like it's "Color film" mark not "Khara" (both are written as カラー). I got a bit confused since they put them in the same line as copyright declare.

Still, both Matsubara Hidenori and Andou Kenji are Khara's staffs so it might be that Khara...

Its been a while since a seinen manga from Comic Beam magazine got an anime adaptation.

Yeah it's by Mamoru Hosoda, which makes it a must watch.

In fact I just came back from a LV art convention and they showed a short animation made by Murakami. It looks exactly like that. I'm guessing he had Hosoda help him?
