Nana
Anyone other than me really digging this series?
I'm finding the main characters three dimensional depth very refreshing and disarming. Both leads are strong but very human in different ways. Definitely a new breathe of air into the genre not familiar with tackling the complexity of life of love. Good music doesn't hurt too much. Maybe I'm just crazy.... |

And we are not alone, even if not that many people are posting here (or on 2channel in Japan). In Japan, this show has viewership ratings around 4, which is about twice as high as other popular late-night anime, and it has been over 6 a couple of times. It shows at about midnight Wednesdays. Current ratings of the top ten shows (all early-evening) are here. Older ratings for a fuller range of shows are here.

nana is really an interesting josei series. first i was just watching episode 1 and 2 thought it is intersting but didnt follow it any further but still getting all the episodes. Just recently i picked up the next episode and watched it straight up to the recent episode. Nana is one of those rare josei series like paradise kiss, but it is just so much better. Im glad itll have 50 episodes.
And i just love the music in this anime so much. |

I'd just go ahead and watch and enjoy 12 But... if you can't get enough of NANA then by all means watch 11.5 |

Before I saw this episode, I'm pretty sure I would have decried Shouji
as a cheating jerk but watching what actually happened it was pretty obvious that: Spoiler:
Yes, I'm loving this show - it's second only to "Honey and Clover" for me right now in terms of relationship dramas.

Its also nice hearing music that doesn't sound like its been dipped in easily forgettable pop sugar for a week. So... you're not a crowd of one -- I just haven't had much comment or complaint so far.
